    Don't waste your money. This is the "new for USA" body option (front bumper, rear bumper) that is copied from the "now old" European V-12 Q7 that has been out for almost 8 years now and is now out of production. Don't waste $70k on this when the entirely new in and out Q7 debuts this year 2015 and should be available toward the mid to end of the year.

    As a car salesman you should know that the 2015 model here just featured the options from the European V12'TDI model. You need to know your stuff. I how you have improved.

    so what happens to the fog lights? are they moved to headlights ?

    • @drterrible8069
      @drterrible8069 5 лет назад +1

      paha25 no, they get deleted. You have as standard with the sight package Bi-Xenon head lamps (bi-xenon is xenon for low and high beams, just sayin) + u get cornering light. So you definitely don‘t need fog lights anymore.
      Cheers from germany

    Is the cool camera configuration that allows you to see the front and rear standard on the Prestige models or is that an option? thanks

    • @drterrible8069
      @drterrible8069 5 лет назад

      Adam Ly it‘s an option u don‘t see that often on Q7‘s, because it was very expensive back in the day.

    that nav system is awesome, but does it is running on 3g or 4g? it seems like 3g because it takes daamn too long to load things....

      john hamlet it runs on both. You‘re right, with LTE it‘s way more faster. So use it.
      Cheers from Germany

    There's something different about this truck. I can't find a single one online or build one on Audi USA's site without the fog lights at the bottom. Each level of trim on Audi USA still has the fog lights. I like this look better.
    *Edit* I figured it out. You have to add the sport plus package to delete the fog lights on the Prestige model.

      Yes, its a whole different front bumper cover and rear bumper cover. It's from the old Q7 V-12 version in Europe. This body style has been available since 2008 for the V-12 and is no longer in production. But just now we're getting this body option for USA. Wait for the new Q7 to be unveiled this year.

      I've seen pictures of the new Q7 & I'm not a fan. The present Q7 has a boldness about it. The new one looks puny. Maybe it'll be different in person.

    The bumpers and fenders are called the W12 trim.

      mdeyanov83 W12? That‘s not a phaeton. You mean V12. And not trim, more like „V12 optic package“.😉

    My 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit has just as many tech features as this and has a HUGE 8.4 inch navigation screen and has more off road capabilities than this and I paid $25k less. Lifetime Powertrain Warranty included. I had a 2011 Audi Q7. Electronics always had issues. They look beautiful, but cost an arm and a leg to maintain.

      agreed wait for the redesign. Audi/VW are going to update the Navigation window much larger. I believe the new q7 will share a platform with the VW crossblue

      It also misses some other options like the memory seats on both sides. Also no Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System (Every Q7 came back in the day standard with Bose Surround Sound, so bose wasn‘t even an option). So that car isn‘t thaaat good equipped.

    Not a very confidence-inspiring presentation, Sir. I have one of these and you don’t sound like you know very much about this vehicle.
