    Great video. We had the Solax X3 G4 hybrid and had an issue with the ATS not working properly. For some reasons, when the grid is present, the inverter would not power the off grid loads. Fortunately, one of Solax tech upgraded the firmware remotely and it works like a charm. Keep posting your videos.

      Thank you Eric. I am glad that your experience has been very positive. The support has been good and it seems that the firmware drives a whole lot more than it does on other inverters. I promise to make more videos. Thank you for watching and commenting

    Nice. Do you know to confirm the difference between Matebox basic and Advanced and is this the Advanced?

    • @drsolar
      @drsolar  9 месяцев назад

      The basic does not have DC switch and the contractors. Thank you for watching and commenting. Please subscribe if you have not.

    So basically with the matebox output of 60A. I can expect my battery to discharge a current of about 25-30A and use the grid at the same time which would give me 55A to 60A on the load?

      Thank you for watching and commenting. You can charge at 30 amps and power 30 amps worth of load

    as theres no SPD built in, would it be good to run the grid input through an SPD first?

    My suggestion to assist people charge their electronics is to build an organized space/room electronically wired neatly just like you do with installations with charging points

    Is it true Victron do the most user friendly inverters and most reliable? Would you say both solax and victron the two best in marketplace but most expensive?

    • @drsolar
      @drsolar  2 года назад

      I am not sure that I would call Victron user friendly. It is expert friendly. I would not categorize them as the best or the most expensive. For what they do, they are good.
