Its said russia wanted the road from Korenovo towards Glushkovo to unblock their troops south of the river with reinforcements and supplies. However, Ukrainian FPV drones dropped bombs on that route every 5 minutes causing a lot of destructions.
You might be right as Glushkovo as primary target for the new push - but flexibility and good reflexes might have temped commanders to change the plan, an opportunity to counter the new Russian attacks.
To me, it also affirms the idea of Ukraine having superiority in operational surveillance, overall control on information and intelligence, as well the best coordinated tactics.

The conventional wisdom is about numbers but there is this continued.lapse in memory I shall generously call where plenty of times an attacking force that was smaller than an opposing force achieved decisive victories. Hannibal at Cannae, the Mongols in their various campaigns across Eurasia, the Royal Navy at Trafalgar, the Wu against the Chu during that war in China, Scipio at Zama just to name but a select few.

The allies invasion of Iraq is a good example also. But in Iraq they solved it by bypassing the Iraqi defenses. Same thing when Germany outmaneuvered the allies in Belgium. And now, something similar might be happening in Kursk/Glushkovo

Hmm.. it has been mentioned that a bunch of Wagnerites were spotted amongst the Ruzzian force striking south.. possibly part of those that were called back from Africa.

How far does Ukraine intend to go into Russia Is it a buffer zone or is it part of a plan for future negotiations .it's hard to tell as I'm not privy to any information and have no idea to the size of the forces they are communicating to the area?

I think that to hold Glushkovo is very important for the Russians, like Korenevo. I don't think that Ukraine wil conquer the place Glushkovo. Maybe they can reach the river Seym on other places.

ohh the russians live and fight in a black box, they have zero idea of whats going on in the actual battles they fight in. Its not a great plan, but it seems to work.. Dont fret, this info is old and the russians have probably a vague idea of whats going on.... not their firt war.
