After a minute, something feels off, and I slow down yo a stop. I left with my slippers on. I go back home to change into my shoes, and having somewhat calmed down by then, I see that not only was I not late, but even an hour early.
I pranked a boarding school colleague in a similar manner, but in the night, right after he fell asleep :) The dorms were right in the school building so, at about midnight he threw some clothes on and stormed down the swtairs to the classroom. After a half an hour or so he came back, steaming :))
