My first ride on a 'Busa surprised me how much I felt at home on it straight away. The plan was to take it out for a test ride for at least an hour, and I felt at one with it before I had even left the carpark of the motorcycle shop. I had made up my mine to buy it within two blocks (hadn't even used the power at that stage), but still rode into the hills and played for around an hour. That was at the beginning of 2007, and it is still my favourite bike to wheel out of the garage for a play in the hills or extended road trips.
I'm 59 years old and love my Hayabusa, had it seven years now and raised the bars by 8 inches and extended all the cables and lowered the pegs by 1 inch because the riding position really sucks depending on your size and age. Only ever used C mode once in heavy rain in the mountains, if you know how to ride and control your right hand you don't need the modes. Fitted a top box and toured all around the UK with my wife on the back. I will never sell my Hayabusa. Cheers
My Busa never leaves A mode. If you have good throttle control, you have nothing to worry about. Weird you say that the riding position is uncomfortable, feels way better than the ZX6R I had. Been riding it for almost 4 yrs now.

While everyone has an opinion...I'm not so sure a guy who rides an R6 & is a 600cc fan is best person to review a 1000 or Hayabusa. Soon as he gave it a Lil go on highway he was already freaking out a bit. Not all bikes are meant for all people to ride. I've seen videos & have friends who wheelie the shit out of busas or lean that mofo over in a corner. Size of bike & a person's abilities come down to practice, skill, & limit of fear. If you're too scared to do it you're probably not going to or you're fuck up attempting whatever you're trying to do. This video is like Ricky Gadson complaining about how slow a Ninja 250 is and how the handlebars feel weird etc etc. He might not be best to review that kinda bike for me lol. Either way awesome channel & thanks for putting out effort & videos.
Hell no! I've ridden a busa before and its not something I'd start on though I started on a 1000cc. Its heavy and doesn't corner well. If you plan on having more fun than going straight then a ninja 300 or upcoming R3 would be good if you are into supersport bikes and you're a beginner.
You can start on a hayabusa it's not the smartest thing to do but you can do it. But get a 600 if you're at least 19 under than that get something smaller
Dude no disrespect but your. review of this bike is terrible. Im not saying you have to praise it im all about differing opinions but this was not accurate. I have been a Busa rider for a long time and can tell you a few things. Yes the bike is big but none of that interferes with the ride. No its not a 600 in the twisties but I garauntee I could could mostly keep up on one. You not liking the curves again is your opinion but the Busa was designed with aerodynamics in mind bigtime. Straight edges create form drag and curves cut through the wind with little coefficient of drag. Suzuki had top speed in mind for this bike and thats what gets it there. I dunno how you feel like you lean forward on this bike but not a supersport. The busa does not have a tail thats angled upward. It sits low and flat. Ive rode supersports and thats a bike that makes me feel hunched over. I think the Busa is a very balanced, very fast, and very comfortable machine. Itll do 200mph if you want or it can cruise you to work in comfort. Its not the best in the turns but does a damn good job in them. It is heavy but not enough to notice it when you ride. I guess the point Im making is I feel like you are more partial to supersport than a sport touring bike and it shows. If your gonna review this bike I just think your mind should have been open a little more. Like you said they are a totally different animal and shouldnt be compared to one another.
Well said. It took him a full 13 minutes to even start to ride the thing properly. It's my suggestion to him that this machine is way beyond his capabilities.
@@CreamsicleMoto I most certainly would. About the only negative would be the rear tyre life, so if you are looking at doing a seriously long tour either fit new tyres before you set off, or plan a tyre stop along the route. Its ability to mile munch though is without question.
@@BibTheBoulderTheOriginalOne Is it really that bad? I've heard a few people mention the tyre life but surely it can't be much worse than a regular litre bike?
This review begins at 13:21 You buy this bike if you love sports bikes but also love putting in 400 mile runs. Also you buy it for an experience like no other. You can ride quick on the highway with barely any effort. Imagine you running and panting to get to 12MPH. Now imagine getting to 12MPH by hopping on a skateboard down hill. That is how this bike is. It's like an S63 benz. You can go quick but you feel like you are chilling...OR you can pull violently at ANY SPEED
+Your Fast Life! I don't think he gets what a Super Sports Bike is all about. his 600 isn't in the same class at all. Your analogy is right. You can go 100MPH in a Mazda Miata and feel like you're flying or 100MPH in a S63 AMG and feel like nothing is going on.
My wife owns a 2018 busa, she got new. She is 5'7 and can handle it fine in A mode. She has dual vodoo slip ons and an aftermarket seat. She is going to lower it about an inch soon.
i think only the hayabusa is the bike which survived in the market for such long where compition is too tough and manufactures are just changing designs every year so this shows hayabusa is a legend its raw there are no computers between u and your bike to control the bike...🤘
The iconic shape of the Hayabusa was designed in a wind tunnel to help it achieve its high speeds . The original stock 1999 Suzuki Hayabusa hit a top speed of 194 mph . At that time it became the fastest production bike in the world. With mods it easily went 200+ mph. After that all sport bikes have a governor on them limiting them to a 186 mph.
It’s one thing about the busa, if you love it, you just do. The shape and size is the reason I bought it. Am 6’3, need the size. Everyone that has been on the bike always say the same thing “OMG”… speed. Well, with that speed comes size.
Corey DRIZZLE Well you can drive at 200 but you'll lose your licence. So I dunno if you value having some fun with speed over being able to ride, but I wouldnt.
LOL its funny when 600cc(or less) riders first try a Superbike! Yeah its a whole different animal! I like 600cc bikes but i want more power than that! And yes you will use it!
***** im pretty sure it doesnt have traction control or wheelie control or any other rider aids except abs and power modes. I ride both and can say for a fact a Hayabusa is more difficult
I have this bike after watching Chase, but it took a while. I originally wanted to buy the GSXR 1000 but my wife (sigh) wanted to come to the bike shop with me. Then I ended up with a pos Triumph America because she liked it. Note: never take your wife or girlfriend to a bike shop when you are going to purchase. The Triumph engine would cut out on me and it was gutless. On and on I could go. Decided to trade it in on a brand new Hayabusa 2 years ago and have been super happy ever since. Love this bike and just did an oil change and brake fluid flush myself on Saturday. Had handlebar risers put on from new and that makes a huge difference to the riding comfort.
I can respect that people don't like how it looks. But with the right rider you won't ever have to worry about seeing one, unless it's parked. As a bigger guy 6'2 225lb. I prefer to ride bikes like this because the 600cc are a lil too flickable.. As far as manuverabilty goes it's all subject to what your used to. A hayabusa will not "feel" as flickable simply because of the weight. Not because it's a bad design. Imagine putting a hayabusa engine on a R6 frame. Prolly couldn't ride it. Just my .02
Most boring busa test-drive in the world. What a pleasure to go to one of the fastest motorcycles 40 kmh? Maybe the fact that you are a bad rider? Boring...
1. Just because he is riding slow doesn't make him a bad rider. 2. If he was a bad rider, he would have 300,000 subscribers. 3. You need to watch his other videos, where you will find that he is a good rider. 4. There are cars around him so speeding wouldn't be a good idea. 5. He isn't use to the bike, so he won't want to mess up the first ride. 6. The area that he is in, is 'police heavy'. 7. He doesn't want to crash the bike as it isn't his own. 8. First impressions aren't about speed, they are about the bike works and feels. 9. There isn't any point in him flooring to bike when there are loads of other videos on RUclips of this bike hitting top speeds in a safe, controlled environment. Think before you type.
+Tristram Randall the whole panigale situation shows what a shit rider he is. then the fact that he made a video that just made excuses for why he crashed was a laughable move.
I owned a busa for 3 years and found it very comfortable and the engine braking is not severe geez try a Ducati streetfighter for sever engine braking. And i wish you wouldn’t say it’s weird all the time. I did long trips on it with wife on the back and she found it very comfy too.
Knew there'd be lots of comments! I agree with comments below- if you had a chance to get used to it you'd be singing it's praises! You wouldn't want anything else! There's lots of older guys on these hypersport ( I'm 62) we call them sport-tourers haha sport-tourers that kick ass you coulda put it in 6th gear at 35 mph twist the throttle it'll pull immediately all the way to 190 mph! Yeah !
I bought a Hayabusa after spending 25000 kms on a BMW 1200GS. I always wanted one and was disappointed and hated it. One month later and it was my favourite bike ever. It's a Series 1 so has no riding modes. Comfortable, great even in traffic, for me the best bike ever
+bajabilly2004..... this is so true... I had the 2007 zx14 with turbo, hard to believe they did that without traction control, it was definitely faster than the 2012 Busa I have now. I know it would beat the Busa in a top speed challenge. both bikes are the same weight, zx14 is one pound heavier, but is 30hp stronger while both are stock (the turbo 14 was 197hp stock)
The Hyabusa is really for anyone who wants to ride but taller people love the Hyabusa. Your core has to be strong to ride this bike and all those other liter bikes are are for track riding. And they are made a lil tighter in the pocket for cornering and leaning. The Hyabusa has a lot of power my cousin has a 2017 I rode it recently. I was very surprised at all the bad reviews about how it rides and all that other mumbo jumbo until I rode one myself. It shifts smooth, the throttle is perfect and yes in 2nd gear I was at like 120mph!!!... it will move out but the rider has to respect the power other than that I loved it. If you never rode one before don't listen to all these personalized reviews ride one for yourself and then make a sound concious decision they are awesome bike to own.
Busa is my 2nd bike for long distance hwy riding. 500miles no problem. Fits me perfect and the way is screams when you hammer the throttle is beast. Best thing to do is own multiple bikes and enjoy them all!
You have to ride it some bro..it will grow on you really fast!! I had the same feeling when I took my 2018 home. But now I blinded with the scary fast bike ever!😬
I used the mode selector once to see if it worked and once when I got caught in a huge downpour. The mass of the bike is really only apparent when stopping and the seating position contributes to the feel. If you notice, the seat height is actually lower than most 600 supersports which contributes to the slow steering feel. When you get over 130mph the maximum value of the windscreen and lower center of mass due to this seating position is realized. The description you give is pretty accurate for such a short ride. Riders of the Busa are rarely ambivalent towards it; they either love it cause it scares the crap out of them or they hate it for the same reason. However the bike is surprisingly easy to handle even for relatively inexperienced riders who are trained and ride within the limits of their training and skill level. This is a good, realistic test ride description. Keep up the good work!
I think there is two kinds of people concerning the hayabusa. Either you love it completly or you don't like it at all. I liked your review because it was very honest. At least you know what suits you best. I was sitting on one to test how it feels and what I liked about it was the fact that my arms weren't bent as much as on my R6. It felt like it was made for my size. :) I also noted it felt lighter than it appears. I'm gonna test one, too very soon and I am very curious about it. Thanks for the review!
March 2020: Even though this video is old, as of 2020, the Busa hasn't changed much. Big fan of the Busa - admirer mostly. This video really addresses unbiased concerns and that's why I greatly appreciated viewing it. Not everybody has to like everything and this is exactly what's needed. 👍💯
I don't understand all the fuss about engine braking. My man is intimidated by the busa. When you get off of buzzy little boy bikes and strap on a rocket you should be I guess. I personally ride a tl1000r at the moment which is busa sized with massive engine braking. Love the big bikes. Comfy, stupidly fast, and lots of wind protection. If your a bigger fella like myself, 6'3" 220 the big bikes are a perfect fit.
***** True, but look at the Ninja H2(R) I know most can't afford it. However, It's Sleek, Sharp, And A Man Bike lol. But it comes down to Personal Preference.
I daily an 07 hayabusa. That’s the last year of the 1st gen. No power modes, no traction control, no autoblipper or rev matching. I’ve ridden it in the rain and almost every day I ride it in twisting mountain roads. I have had zero issues ever and only had 600cc riding experience prior to getting the busa. These bikes aren’t as crazy as these reviewers make them out to be I promise haha
I’ve owned a 2006 Hayabusa. It had the most comfort to power ratio I’ve ever found in a bike. My GSXR600, my friend’s Yamaha R1 and Kawasaki ZX 10, Theyre all set up very aggressively and had paper-thin seats. The hayabusa is angled more towards a natural seating position and actually has a large comfortable Seat. Maybe it’s because I have long arms but I found Comfort to be one of the main and surprising attractions of the Hayabusa. And then you got one of the fiercest four-cylinder mass produced engines ever built beneath you singing like an angel with a large fuel capacity tank Brembo brakes, silky smooth six speed transmission, and the way the fairings are arranged (for aerodynamics) Most of your body is guarded from the wind which makes riding in the cold heck of a lot easier most of your body is guarded from the wind which makes riding in the cold heck of a lot easier. And on top of all that, it has a fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge, clock and mpg estimator??? Most cars don’t even have an mpg estimator, most bikes don’t have a clock or even a tachometer. The Hayabusa may look a bit ridiculous but it’s a Japanese masterpiece.
Past owner of an R6, currently on a gen 2 busa, and bro... you cray lol. I'm 5'3" 115lbs and i honestly feel more comfortable on my busa than the 08 R6 I had. hella comfortable, like a sport couch. Everyone has their own opinion, and to me, every bike is weird at first, but after a week or two it becomes natural. I know I couldn't go back to a 600cc.
I recentlly acquired a 2003 gsxr 1000 (wich I'm thrilled with), but before, I tryied a busa, since I was in doubt wich one to go for. I hadn't riden a bike for 15 years and my last one (and first) was a gsxr 1100. It was with a smile on my face that I watched this video and your impressions just now, because I had the same feeling with the busa. It felt just like driving a truck, and when leaning, it was not you but the bike that did all the job, like if it had a will of it's own. The position did not feel natural at all, and when I handed over to the owner, a friend of mine, I remember saying : man, this bike is only good on 2 sittuations ; either stopped or above 150km/h. On the other hand, as soon as I put my ass on the gsxr everything made sense. The position, the throtlle, the engine, everything felt familiar even after 15 years. I am now getting to know her, because I know there's a lot of differences between these generations, and I respect the power alot, but nevertheless I believe I made the right choice :D it leans like a bike, it brakes like a bike, it revs like a bike.
Wow, that thing really intimidated him didn't it? Maybe if he had ridden it for a week or more he would get used to the extra mass it has over his daily ride R6. I don't find the riding position a stretch at all. And if Chase thinks they have massive engine braking (not really) then he should ride a large sports V twin like an Aprillia Tueno or a Suzuki TLR. Chase you need to run one of these for a month...
I'm a mechanic and salesman at a local powersports dealer close to where I live. I was talking about stretched bikes with my boss, mainly the huyabusa, and he made me laugh when he said "trying to wheelie a huyabusa feels like trying to wheelie your house..." lmaoooo
Everything that is done cosmetically on those beautiful bikes was designed in a wind tunnel for minimum drag and maximum speed. Love these bikes and can't wait to get my own soon. Love your videos and can't wait for more of them!!
Hey bud, couple of my subs directed me over here to check your review and see what i thought, being a full time busa rider. Some of them didnt think it was a fair review, but i can totally see your point, especially seeing as you ride an R6. The busa definitely overwhelms you when you first get on it and takes a while to build confidence to throw it around and open the gas. You should feel it go once it hits 9k if you think the bottom is ballsy lol. The ride position is certainly stretched out and if you havent got a decent reach you might be in strife. My arms are bent riding mine, so its pretty good for my size. As for all your other points, again, i think, sorry, i know they are all amplified by the fact your everyday bike is an r6. They are just complete polar opposites to each other. I just wished you could spend a week on one to get comfy with how it works. Im sure you could learn to love it! But anyway, it sounds weird as a busa rider but i totally agree with your points coming from a supersport perspective. im sure some guys will get butt hurt, as they did when i reviewed the s1000rr, but people have to realise that what one dude loves, might just not be for someone else. Keep up the good work and ride safe. Ps. Subscribe to "the beard and the busa" lol
BUILD IN THE WIND TUNNEL BUDDY. ITS BUILT FOR SPEED , MATE. I hit 220km/h first time i rode mine ,when i first bought mine, cheers. I love my BIKE !!!!!!!!!
+ARMONI555 That's what I got out of it. He did say it was a good bike but wasn't for him. I guess some people didn't get that out of it. If I remember right he said Busa's have a following and many people love them and if that's your kind of bike this is for you for sure. After watching this video, I still think Busa is a good bike. Didn't change my mind.
+Robert Brumley chase doesn't know what he's talking about saying it's an uncomfortable bike. that is so untrue. stick to listening to experts when it comes to bikes
+ARMONI555 Well considering that is more of an opinion, how can it be untrue? If you're used to that of course you're gonna think its fine and comfortable.
I have had mine over 3 years now ..one speeding fine so far. Heavy, not maneuverable and fast ..but quite docile if you are gentle on the throttle.. Not a daily commuter ..Sunday riding (I am over 70 ...will sell it soon)
Man get your scary ass off that bike everybody can ride a real motorcycle I live the busa. That's the baddest bike on the land nice motorcycle you are not made for this bike why even di a review. One thing for sure you have to have big balls to ride the busa I have a 06 busa fast as hell and I love it.
March 5th 2022, I bought my first Haybausa. It was also my first motorcycle. Coming up on March 5th 2023, I’m having the Busa sent off to have an 1441CC Engine build with 100Shot of nitrous. Will be my 1 year anniversary celebration.
My first ride on a 'Busa surprised me how much I felt at home on it straight away.

Go hard.... Wonder if Ur still here and see this
am i one of the only people that actually like the looks of the hayabusa xD
I like the curves. Tried a friends bike once.. truly too fast for the street. Would like to try it again though...long haul...with bar risers.
BUSA ALL DAY
Just lowered the back 2 inches, raised bars 1 inch. Totally different riding experience and love it all over again!!!
I love the body style
I Love the looks.....
He's so not ready for this. I love it
Love the busa especially being an older rider!
Love the weight and stability!
I don’t like those little light bikes
i like the look of the hayabusa .
It looks shit
Patrick Nintemann I love the first gen, hate the second.
Engine braking! Your still in first gear you knob! These things pull high gears you dont need to be in a low gear, its called torque!
Right?
I saw chase on two wheels and busa and said let's see how much he hates this haha
+mike santiago sounds like you've seen a few first rides. Lol
HAHAHA thats so funny thats the same thing I thought (in chase voice) im not a fan of this at alll lol i just knew I would hear those words lol
This was just a bunch of negatives about the busa...
then the bike scares the shit out of him.... 😎🔥
@Steven Hunter
supersport = 600cc sports bike
superbike = 1000cc sports bike
hayabusa = sports tourer
Hypersport
This guys hopeless. It's like putting oprah on it....useless
Fun fact about the hayabusa, the man who designed said in a interview, that he purposely made the bike ugly, so that it would be memorable.
You must be thinking of the ZX14, because the kawi is ugly as shit.
REM44MAG are you high? the ZX14 looks much better then the busa
shan304 true.
There both ugly as fuck
REM44MAG Nope

Would it be good beginners bike?

If u late to work on a busa... Just slit dat wrist😂😂😂, but like for real, Chase has no fucking clue about this bike
Well said. It took him a full 13 minutes to even start to ride the thing properly. It's my suggestion to him that this machine is way beyond his capabilities.
Would you recomend as a touring bike ??? Right now riding a m109r want to try something else.
I watched this video about 20 times..... lol
Went and bought a Hayabusa....
No regrets.......
It felt more like a Vcomplaint. 21 minutes of you saying how uncomfortable and bulky this bike is. Why not make a 3 minute video then?
"Let's get on the highway."
"Let's get off the highway."
That's what I was searching
😂😂😂😂
One of my favorite bikes I have ever owned. 6'4 and incredibly comfy for my huge self.
This review begins at 13:21
You buy this bike if you love sports bikes but also love putting in 400 mile runs.
Michael Lites You got it!
Your Fast Life! 👍👍👍
Your Fast Life! 👍
My wife owns a 2018 busa, she got new. She is 5'7 and can handle it fine in A mode. She has dual vodoo slip ons and an aftermarket seat. She is going to lower it about an inch soon.
lol he literally bashed the bike the entire video, we get it... you don't like it
Mark Jones,, Right, who cares what he thinks,,, I got a 2013 Busa and I love it!!
He is not a real rider and he says he rides liter bikes lol the R1 feals the same way. He is a bad reviewer.
@@MicMurphy1981 it's subjective you asswipe
Watching this video from 9 years ago and now owning a 2012 and a 2024 Hayabusa!
Nice review, camera work and editing as usual. :-)
i think only the hayabusa is the bike which survived in the market for such long where compition is too tough and manufactures are just changing designs every year so this shows hayabusa is a legend its raw there are no computers between u and your bike to control the bike...🤘
Hayabusa guys definitely enjoy that bent over feeling :p
I bet their boyfriends enjoy it too
Dont hate. Busas will do what your bike will do in 2nd gear. Cute 2 cyl u got there
How do you know what bike i have?
Talking about mr ninja 650 over here.
i see what u did there xD
Get back on your toy and leave the real bikes to the real riders
Lmfaoooo
I was waiting to see one of these comments
exactly :D
Rite
Lol weak
13:30 , and there we go. Thats all I needed to know.
:D 👍
The Busa is a Beastly FAST machine. It is a cool looking Legendary Bike.
This video is a marathon of "That's what she said" jokes.
like at 5:46 hahahahahaha XD
Shag In The Wind Now that's funny!!! SMH!!!!!
Hayabusa is the way to go !!!
inexsperienced rider review your absolutely right you have no place bein on a busa
"This thing just wants to fly into outer space" lmfaoo
I love the curviness of it it looks better that the zx14 to me
The best bike ever made - love em
the busa is designed to go over 200 mph, that's why there are so many weird curves
+Corey DRIZZLE Which is kinda stupid since you cant go over 200 mph anywhere pretty much except a race track and possibly autobahn.
i mean if you have a good mile or 2 of just straight road, you can get 200 easy, after the limiter is removed..
Corey DRIZZLE Getting to 200 isnt the problem, it being legally is.
+Plague Doc Ohh OK I thought you were talking about just pure speed not the legality of it...
Corey DRIZZLE Well you can drive at 200 but you'll lose your licence. So I dunno if you value having some fun with speed over being able to ride, but I wouldnt.
It looks like the bbw of Bikes
LOL its funny when 600cc(or less) riders first try a Superbike! Yeah its a whole different animal! I like 600cc bikes but i want more power than that! And yes you will use it!
amen brother.
SimonSays559
Thanks
***** i was being rude im sorry. Have you ever ridden a Hayabusa?
***** im pretty sure it doesnt have traction control or wheelie control or any other rider aids except abs and power modes. I ride both and can say for a fact a Hayabusa is more difficult
***** i gonna be doing a ride review of a 2008 soon
Had handlebar risers put on from new and that makes a huge difference to the riding comfort.
clearly the test rider hasnt ridden a current liter bike or rides very timidly or his R6 if he finds a docile Hayabusa formidable! LOL
He also must be a little bloke as he said he could barely reach the bars.
I just got my 2017 busa I love it
I can respect that people don't like how it looks.

ROASTED!!!
+Tristram Randall the whole panigale situation shows what a shit rider he is. then the fact that he made a video that just made excuses for why he crashed was a laughable move.
Your reaction to getting on the highway the first time made me happy to own a Busa haha
I owned a busa for 3 years and found it very comfortable and the engine braking is not severe geez try a Ducati streetfighter for sever engine braking. And i wish you wouldn’t say it’s weird all the time. I did long trips on it with wife on the back and she found it very comfy too.
He must've been a novice rider at the time.
never heard a grown man cry so much in my entire life!!!
Love the ‘busa. Fast and gorgeous
Yeah !
Excellent comment.
basically your not ready for the bike yet. the look has grown on me a lot as well I like it.
Thank you for going through all the modes, Im getting one.
Clarence Turner,,, I got one anyway,,, U gon love it Bruh
I bought a Hayabusa after spending 25000 kms on a BMW 1200GS.
I always wanted one and was disappointed and hated it.
One month later and it was my favourite bike ever.
It's a Series 1 so has no riding modes.
Comfortable, great even in traffic, for me the best bike ever
I think it would be really cool if you could do a first impression of the Kawasaki ZX14R to compare it to the hayabusa. #C2WFR
+ClutchIt Nick Good idea. I'll add it to the list of bikes to do a first ride on.
+chaseontwowheels awesome thanks 👌🏼
+bajabilly2004 zx14 has better low end but top end all buss
+bajabilly2004..... this is so true... I had the 2007 zx14 with turbo, hard to believe they did that without traction control, it was definitely faster than the 2012 Busa I have now. I know it would beat the Busa in a top speed challenge. both bikes are the same weight, zx14 is one pound heavier, but is 30hp stronger while both are stock (the turbo 14 was 197hp stock)
+Salami bin Rotten the zx14 has never had a turbo stock..
JUST SAYING IT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD SUZUKI HAYABUSA ❤️
Busa is my 2nd bike for long distance hwy riding. 500miles no problem. Fits me perfect and the way is screams when you hammer the throttle is beast. Best thing to do is own multiple bikes and enjoy them all!
You have to ride it some bro..it will grow on you really fast!! I had the same feeling when I took my 2018 home. But now I blinded with the scary fast bike ever!😬
I'll be taking delivery of my own 2018 model.. Looking forward for that mighty falcon
I also noted it felt lighter than it appears.
I'm gonna test one, too very soon and I am very curious about it.
Thanks for the review!
Is it fast enough for the highway though?
"The perfect bike for the guy who likes that bent over feeling.."
This comment section is a significant downgrade from every other C2W first ride video XD
The only reason why I didn't dislike this vid is because rider riding one of the best bikes ever, but rider itself knows shit about motorcycles.
Looks like a damn hotdog.
lol
more like big rat.
***** True, but look at the Ninja H2(R) I know most can't afford it. However, It's Sleek, Sharp, And A Man Bike lol. But it comes down to Personal Preference.
That dude should be riding a Vespa scooter
I daily an 07 hayabusa. That’s the last year of the 1st gen. No power modes, no traction control, no autoblipper or rev matching. I’ve ridden it in the rain and almost every day I ride it in twisting mountain roads. I have had zero issues ever and only had 600cc riding experience prior to getting the busa. These bikes aren’t as crazy as these reviewers make them out to be I promise haha
BTW 194mph was restriction cus its a 08 special edition. Black frame. Black swingarm. Gold rims. Badass fucking bike
Also when you did take it to "110" you didn't even get it anywhere near it's proper power band. 8000rpm+ is where you would experience the true fear
James Morris-Hill I'm also on public roads man. Can't be too stupid.
Sport Touring
Love My Busa!
Can you ride a 2013 Triumph Speed Triple?
Really Denzel Been trying to get my hands on one of these. Trust me I'll keep looking!
***** what about the new Daytona? Would really like to hear your views on the bike
I know I couldn't go back to a 600cc.
a little dramatic.....
Hot damn lol he was off that highway with a quickness
! ! RESPECT THE BUSA ! !
Sounds like you have some dark Animosity towards the Hayabusa. The Hayabusa is a great Bike.
***** Will you be doing a First Ride and Review on the new Yamaha R3? Would love to see that. Keep up with the good videos!
Tony T Absolutely Tony! The second it touches the showroom floor I'll be on it and have a video for you guys asap!
***** Do a comparison between it and the CBR300r and Ninja300!
***** What about the Polaris Slingshot. I would love to see what you say about it.
The Polaris slingshot isn't a motorcycle
redneckon2wheels Neither was the spider....
MutieThePig If I could get that figured out with a dealer I would totally try it out.
***** wanna see you test the h2 or the new r1m
Pantheist Alexander Adult diaper mode ... ON ! :))
MutieThePig
At least he's honest the bike's power freaked him out.
They're just big pussycats...
4 minutes is all I needed to hear. Thanks man!
From his voice i can tell he is scared as fuck....Hayabusa its a great bike!
he scared
i would have been scared to
It's a ton of fun it's not really scary after you get used to it.
ThebigM lol 😂
Love it, looks massively beautiful big chunky solid bike, I’d love to try one
21 minutes of Busa hate...🤦🏾♂️😂😂😂
You mentioned a million times that this is a different bike and you’re not used to it. We get it. Just give it the beans!
way to destroy a busa with your comments its a very popular bike especially down south
+ARMONI555 How did he destroy the Busa? All he said was it wasn't his cup of tea and they it had way more power than he was used to or needed.
+Robert Brumley well that's true but it just seems he could have said it's a good bike but it's not for me
+ARMONI555 That's what I got out of it.
The time of video dude says he daily rides an r6 but calls a busa an uncomfortable riding position lmfao
I have had mine over 3 years now ..one speeding fine so far. Heavy, not maneuverable and fast ..but quite docile if you are gentle on the throttle.. Not a daily commuter ..Sunday riding (I am over 70 ...will sell it soon)
funny as hell... become one with the bike Daniel son
+jo boyz This bike shouldn't even be on the road.
I just love the Hayabusa looks! Will pick mine this year :D
I heard it is a good beginners bike :'D
Night rider did it
Only the turbo version!
Would have been perfect for Bruce Lee...
😂😂😂
