- This is a quick start guide for Juri in Street Fighter 6. This tutorial will go over her normals, specials, supers, combos and even frame traps. This is meant for anyone who is new to the character to be able to dive into games and have an understanding on how her systems work. If you are NOT new to the character, this is a nice refresher! I will continue to have more videos on Juri and I hope you will enjoy them

The best part of this guide is the fact that you have the virtual controller instead of the input vomit on the left side. Its so much easier to understand when i can see when you actually hit the buttons.
Thank you so much. I used to main Juri on SF5 until I was stuck in the purgatory of Ultra Bronze and Silver. This guide alone placed me up to Platinum 2 through placement matches. Now I feel more confident and strive to master everything about this character now.

Super helpful! I'm new to fighting games and Juri looks very cool to me. However I feel like I don't know any of the Street Fighter basics so a lot of what you're saying just doesn't connect with me. Coming from someone who's been around street fighter but terrible at playing it and looking to play Juri, the combo trials were really helpful in trying to click together the pieces and have an idea how to approach the character. Def recommend giving them a try and then going to the training room to experiment and go over combo routes
honestly love how concise this guide is and its so helpful to see the recommended "flow chart" to get a grasp on when and how to use her moves

Aye. It takes time! Crawl before you can run and if you stumble it’s okay, you’ll adjust! Improvement is less about skill and more about knowledge and iteration. When you’re ready for ranked (it’s very casual it just has a number), remember a number doesn’t define you.

Same for me man, freaking LOVE Juri. I've always been more of a casual player when it came to fighting games. I played SF4 quite a bit and played with Juri mainly, but I skipped SF5 as I didn't like it. I fell in love with SF6, I don't know what it is but I just have so much fun playing this game and Juri is absolutely my go to when playing.
I've recently started trying to play ranked and I'm liking it but I am honestly not a good SF player, my rank is really low: IRON2 at the moment but I am trying to get better. I don't think I will ever reach MASTERS so if I can reach GOLD then I will be proud of myself.

Juri didnt feel like a character in 5, It feels so good to play her in 6 and I am speedrunning the story mode to get outfit 2
With the release of the game, YT is full of "guides" for characters. Yours is by far the best for Juri in my opinion.

This is just what I needed as someone new to street fighter thanks
I spent dozens of hours using Juri on SF4 then skipped SF5 and now back to Sf6 and they changed most of the key inputs for her moves. Huge thanks for making a straight-to-the-point guide with really effective tips!
And that input display is so much easier to follow than the side-scrolling in game one

Thanks for the guide. I've been playing nothing but Juri. I have not been able to win a single game in the 12ish hours I've put into the game. I've watched a bunch of guides and tried playing differently yet I always seem to get rushed down or spammed to hell and back. I am by no means a fighting game god but im not bad at them either. This is my first street fighter game and I just feel like I'm doing something wrong.

Hey man, I've been through that yesterday, playing juri too. I guess it's because we're on day 1, these people play fighting games for years, I'm more of a mortal Kombat guy, but I fell in love with sf6, just give it time bro, more guides will come out, for modern and classic controllers. We will get there, maybe we can play sometime.
@@Adam-go6qv Not even that it's my first fighting game. My first fighting game was Tekken Revolution followed by injustice 2 and MKX. This is just so much different than those as in you don't really have long long combos to keep someone locked so I really have to learn the neutral game which is something I'm apperently shit at
@@othiagonovais Yea I figured I wasn't the only one having the same problem. It's more so humbling because I've noticed SF is more about neutral than combos which is not something I'm used to from other games. But I ish you the best of luck friend

Thanks, I'm an anime brained Guilty Gear player and Street Fighter is a hard adjustment for me, but this is vid is a huge help. Juri is so sick, I'm even willing to put up with the feet weirdness lol
Thank you for discussing why these things are good and bad and reasons to use them. As a completely new player to fighting games the figuring out why things are good or work when others don't is the most difficult part and most guides I've seen are just like here are the things you can do

Thank you for this guide! Keeping lights out of the string when using her level 2 to avoid scaling damage down is a great tip, and I wholeheartedly agree that using her level 2 feels amazing. Seeing her game play for the first time was one of the things that made this the first Street Fighter game I gave a damn about since SF2. She just plain feels good to play, so I'm pretty sure I'm solidly a Juri main. Cheers!

Juri was my secondary on sf5, since my main from sf5 isn't in the game i decided to main her, and i do not regret this decision.

I am new to streetfighter, the world tour is fantastic. I started to dissect your video(since 3 hours now) to understand more about the game, in doing so I noticed a small editing blunder 2:48 you were talking about HP, but this is about FWHP.
The only thing I understand to be flat out wrong in your video is 4:08, it is not a cancel, you only get 4 hits of Shiku-sen (see hitcounter leftside).
8:02 you perform a 2MK and do mean to talk about 2MK but say 2LK.
I also see how useful Ankensatsu with a Fuja stock into FWMP is, but that is a 1 frame link, I guess you can replace FWMP with 2MP when you have your opponent cornered to make it a 3 frame link...that 1 frame link is really hard for me :( .
Your video is fantastic, it is crammed to the brim with valuable information!
So the reason why I don’t use cmp is distance. Also even tho it’s a 1f link the buffer system is really loose. It’s like… 3 frame window to buffer the next move.

I casually play anime fighters and mahvel, so Street Fighter is definitely not my wheelhouse, but my friends all got it, so I was peer pressured into picking it up. Juri definitely feels the most comfortable to me, coming from that background. Still ass at link combos, though.

Hey! Thanks for the video. I'm having some trouble with the corner combo in feng shui you showed. it seemed like you were using more moves than what you were saying out loud. Is it MP, C.HP, Forward Jump, HK, into a dive kick?
The corner combo I always use is (fse ending with chp > jump > mp, hp, hk. I can see where the confusion is.

For some reason I cannot chain my OD Saihaso (QCF Light Kick), all the other variations I can continue the OD chain any tips and/or recommendations.
So remember you only have to start the chain with QCF lk+mk. After that you just have to hit the next strength of button. So you can do QCF lk+mk, mk, hk. If thats not the issue, it may be a distance issue. You can only chain if the saihasho hits. So strings like mp > cmp xx OD saihasho, anken, gooh wont work. Test it with like fhp xx OD sai

I love Juri's design so much in SF6 but imma be honest im struggling so hard to figure out her optimal combos and mechanics. As a beginner it's hard to know when to use what attacks especially with how many normals are available. I want to main her really badly but idk if I should learn someone easier first or just practice Juri nonstop.
Neutral in general is pretty complicated in this game. I advise sticking with her, watch replays of your fights and watch what situations would certain moves work and not work in
I'm struggling to connect the -> MP after the Ankensatsu during a combo after a Punish Counter any suggestions or is it just a timing thing?
Maybe it's just me but did they change something since the open beta? Chaining her OD specials seems to put the opponent further after ankensatsu (if not in the corner) than in the beta, making it impossible to follow with a super or Tensenrin. Am I doing something wrong?
Nah they definitely changed a lot of spacing things. You gotta cancel go oh > anken on hit 2 now!

You can only do that if your health is low

Thanks for the guide. Is there ever a reason to hit confirm into go ohsatsu rather than ankensatsu? It seems to me like ankensatsu does a lot more damage because you get to keep going so go ohsatsu is only for stringing together with the other fuha spenders unless im missing something?
Cashing out with Go ohsatsu is really good. You can also do a FSE combo ending with HP xx goohsatsu > h.dp. Its new to the game, wasn't in the beta.
In theory I think c.mk xx od.gooh xx od.anken is more damage than doing c.mk xx dr combo.
Is juri playable in modern mode?
She can't use LP in modern mode😢

I can't chain her L H M kick Special Move, the combo drops after the heavy string hits, wtf?
make sure you have the fuha stock. Only with a fuhastock will it work (qcb+k). Also make sure you're doing them fast enough. You dont need to do qcf every time, only the strength of attack. So QCF+L, H, M is the command!
