Got into them a bit late, towards the end of the 90s, but love them just as much today as in the previous millennium.
The John Squire and Liam Gallagher collabs are sort of like the Stone Roses and Oasis merging into a pleasing hybrid. Liam's voice is elevated. John's guitar is inspired. (But, I still like this stuff.)

In my early teens in the mid seventies I got into music , Thin Lizzy, UFO, Wishbone Ash, Rainbow etc who still love today, then came punk ,I was seventeen. The Pistols, X ray specs, The Adverts, Penetration etc who I still love today. Early eighties arrived, I was twenty, The Smiths, could anything get better ? Had to wait till 1989, then the best album ever, nothing I have heard before or since has come close and with Sugar Spun Sister the best song ever recorded.

It was not just the music, Thatcher was ruling with an iron fist, us youth were the enemy within so she said, no jobs, no future and we were fuckin fed up and then ecstasy bit the street's and boy did we fuckin rebel. The band's in the know got the groove of dance music and the rest is history.....🙌✌️

Steviemtothec people who worked with him in the studio said he could sing its just that live performances he has to make his voice louder so he can hear himself but that’s what makes it sound bad
@@Steviemtothec There are many singers who cannot sing in tune, but they are still incredible. Sometimes the important thing is not to sing in tune but what you transmit. And he transmits so many things.
