How to receive email if I have purchased my custom domain from NS1 and dont have an email provider? Can I use sendgrid to create email address with my custom domains?
Hi Nitansh, if you have purchased a domain name, use the custom records setup method on your DNS. You may need to reach out to NS1 support on where you can do that in their system but the process is the same as shown in this video. Hope that helps. Good luck.
Nice video thanks. What I don't understand is if the admin@domain email address is still required for the second workaround. I followed all the steps and added all the DNS, but I still see the warning message when I Click Verify SendGrid Key in Bubble. Thanks for your help.
Hey you're welcome. Let's see, your screen in SendGrid at 7:47 shows the top Domain Authentication checked as a green but not the Single Sender Verification? I see your point on the lack of clarity on that one, it was a tough tutorial to make. The reason being in order to test Bubble's out-of-the-box configuration steps for SendGrid, it's only possible to do once and then it's already configured and, thus, requires a new paid account to test again as free accounts cannot configure a custom domain.
Hey, it didn't work for me (I'm using go daddy). I connected sendgrid with go daddy perfectly, but when I click "Verify Sendgrid Key" it shows the same popup you displayed at the beginning. Everything seems to be working from Sendgrid's side. Any idea? Thanks!
Hey excuse the delay in replying. At the 3:05 mark, you did the verification where you put in admin@yourdomain.com, which leads a to real address that accepts email? And then you got the message of Sender Verified at 3:30? Or the only steps taken were for the second way starting with 4:00?
Hi @magnetic earth, yes you can. The time it will take you between this moment now and getting good enough to earn decent money will depend on your level of experience with creating user interfaces and experience thinking with logic & systems. It will also help to develop your communication skills with clients/team members.. because there are many details to communicate on every project if you are doing the work for someone else. Learning to build apps with Bubble is like learning to get good at a musical instrument or learning another language -- it takes intentional practice, can help to have a teacher, and you need opportunities to practice (projects). But the field is growing and you will find that clients are very happy to pay good money because they are not paying $100,000's for traditional software development teams and processes.
Thank you! I had to remove everything after the "." like you said and it worked. Never would have tried that without you thanks!
you have no idea how long I've suffered toiling around on my own before finding this video. Thank you so much!
