I agree that ref was a disgrace! He warned Daniel about his head being forward, then AJs glove touched the canvas, and there was no count. On another occasion, he called a knock down a slip. He shouldn't ref another fight after that!

The Referee was fighting Dubois. Dubois fought both AJ and the Referee. Referee was unfair to Dubois. He favoured AJ for no reasons at all. He wasn't even supposed to count in round 5 given how AJ fell down. AJ was done in round one already. He is a complete shell.

I dont know who written him off I certainly didn't. I see AJ as a good heavyweight on his day and that's it, nothing special. I thought Dubois was going to get him and win. What I was surprised for - that all these boxers, and those who have some life experience said AJ win with like 80%. Dont know why, for me it was 50/50 but Daniel seemed more confident in fight week.

i thought the media and networks treated daniel very poorly in the build up even though he held the belt. joshua maoned about respect but him and eddie hearn showed daniel none.
daniel gave joshua a reality check tonight. the difference between them both is the simple fact how each reacted when they got tagged Daniel never took his eyes off of joshua and always retaliated, joshua fell apart everytime he was attacked, he had a poor chin even at the beginning of his career, but tonight the power of Daniel v the chin of joshua was a non contest. everything Danile hit him with caused a reaction.

Look at the massive punch Dubois took near the end of the fight. A lot of people would go down from that. He retreated to recover and set up a lovely counter.
