Thanks again for the video Mr Drone. She's almost there and I can't wait to see her with fans everywhere. I'm sure it is going to be an amazing site. Best wishes Graeme from Portsmouth. Play Up Pompey.
Another good one Nick At 7:40 at the north end of the channel there’s a piece of edging still not fitted to the boardwalk and it looks untidy Hopefully that gets sorted soon
Well done, Nick. Although it's now mostly a matter of spotting tiny differences I'm still loving your videos and will watch them for as long as you make them. On the pitch at Goodison it's a lot less rosy than under the cultivation lighting at our new home. Hopefully 3 points against Spurs, but I'm pessimistic as we managed to lose to Saints when winning looked easier. Maybe Moyes can bring Fellaini back to the Toffees as a midfield coach. I'm dreaming of having a creative attacking midfield like Arteta and Fellaini again, or even the formidable wall of Gravesen and Carsley. We've got to believe that Moyes can do something in what's left of the transfer window. Another smart loan as Landon Donovan was could get us to safety and looking forward to next season in the top flight.
Another brilliant video, Nick. Not been on channel for a while just to get a better WOW factor at the stadium's progress and I wasn't disappointed. Love the way the ground looks. Jaw dropping doersn't come close. So glad we're getting closer to moving in later this year. I was actually sitting here watching the video with a smile on my face. You've done a great job with today's presentation, as with all the previous videos. Great result for the blues, yesterday, with a squeeky bottom finish but glad they came awy with all 3 points. More of the same until the end of the season and we'll be looking good. Question....do you ever sleep? You've videod at silly o'clock since the stadium started being built. Do you have a job as well? Just wonder how you find the time to do everything. Video, edit, adding background music and downloading...and wear bright orange hats. A very multi talented and devoted, passionate blue. Thanks for all your hard work. A labour of love.
Great shots as usual Nick 👍 I see there is advertising boards on all 4sides now with just a ga for the dugouts etc 🤔 Still no news why all the scaffolding is set up in the n/east corner? Thanks Mr Drone for another great video, it still looks cold out there. I hope that we can turn over Tottenham today, and we get the 3 points. Enjoy the match and COYB.
Love it as usual Nick, and really enjoying the slightly different angles and close(r) in shots too. Just can't wait. Looked like one of the lamp assemblies over the pitch was not working - just temporary I am sure. I am no expert by any stretch but the pitch does seem to be taking longer than I expected in my blissfully ignorant state. I'm sure it will be all OK.
Nice one again, Nick. You didn't quite zoom in enough for me to positively confirm, but it looked to me like the barricades around the Michael Jones tribute have finally been removed. I could be wrong but it looked like it.
There are already bins installed at the bottom of the lampposts on the east plaza but as Darren says they'll probably have big wheely bins as well on match day
Still think you should cut the ribbon when it opens. Great video again.😉👍 next time zoom in on the south west bridge please to show us those squares in the pavement and as much zooming on the Everton way. First pallets of stones are already there mate. They start tomorrow 👍
Great video as normal, when you were showing the pitch I noticed that the blue edging strip around the pitch only goes around 3 quarters of the pitch, do you know if it will be added to the final quarter of the pitch?
Declan, the blue is only for the North, East and South pitch-sides as that is what the main TV Camera will be looking at. The West pitchside will remain all-green.
Another fantastic video, if possible on your next visit can you see if you can zoom in on the scaffolding on the corner, doesn't look like small job , quite a big amount of scaffolding plus lots more on the floor, plus Nick what is the music you use in the weekly fly around, cant get it out of my head
GREAT video again Nick. So looking forward to the commencement of the stone laying on Everton way. It was mentioned that the stones are back on sale again due to demand….any idea where these will be placed? 8:46

Great video Nick. Can I ask a general question? Does anyone know when Everton will open up the area around the new stadium for the public to look around? The gates are going to be open all year round and just wondering when that might happen?? Anyone in the know?
It makes think boy time goes by in the mear blink of an eye, it seems but a minute ago that work on the stadium had begun. In but a couple of weeks the first game will be played. Crazy Huhh!. Yeah everything crossed we need a win.
GREAT video again Nick. So looking forward to the commencement of the stone laying on Everton way. It was mentioned that the stones are back on sale again due to demand….any idea where these will be placed?
Has anyone given an explanation as to why a lot of scaffolding has been erected in the northeast corner when LO'R have already handed over the stadium to Everton FC? Is this additional or remendial work to this section of the stadium?
Great video Nick, the pitch is starting to look a lot better! As the weather improves it’ll grow quicker and will look amazing! On the Moyes welcome video there was a video of the stadium showing the club crest on the glass on both north and south stands. Does anyone know if this will be the finished result.
Ryan: although there is scope in the approved plans for signage in the windows, it's unlikely to be anything resembling the 'impactful artistic licence' used in any 'visualisations for PR or marketing purposes.
Hi Nick, aside from the blue lighting there doesn’t seem to be much in terms of it’s Everton’s ground. Just watching this latest video at 3 min in on like the “mesh” black work above the brickwork but below the roof (same on west stand around 7 min in) next to the glass letters if they could have “Everton” in lights on there. Hope I explained it well enough, can’t attach a photo cheers.
Oliver, there are numerous locations for illuminated signage identified in the approved plans. They include the windows (albeit unlikely to be anything like the visualisations seen at the 2020 release videos), the brick facades, the barrel-cladding at the south end, the West Terrace walls and many more smaller locations about the site. If carried out as per plan then The Everton Way will also spell out "E V E R T O N" with the use of different coloured stones. All will be revealed as to the final decisions during the EFC Customisation phase. You'll have to be patient a while longer.
Hey Nick, quality vid as we have come to expect. There's that run off to the right of the main entrance again. Is that water run off, or just wet footfall from workers heading in?
Andy, it's run off of some sort, if you mean the East Stand central portal. I don't know why as all water catchment should be going underground towards the Reclamation tanks.
Great Fly-Around again , Mr Drone! There a a few General Points (POI's, perhaps?) now the Stadium is mostly complete. Have the designers missed a trick by not having the glass frontage on the East stand the same as the West? It would have made the design more Symmetrical and would have made for more quality indoor space and some good views overlooking the Fan Plaza? This is not a criticism, by the way...
🤣. It's not a question of "missing a trick", Mike. Dan Meis wanted every stand to be different so that it reflected older stadia that grew organically. There are alot of people that like symmetrical blobs but it doesn't necessarily add character, any degree of uniqueness or PoI's as art should. I offer this comment as only an explanation as you're entirely entitled to your opinion. I am merely pointing out that it depends on your basal assumption as to whether perfect symmetry is always desirable or even a necessity, when practical requirements come into play. On the practical basis, extending the 'windows' would not reveal anything behind as there are not the same facilities as in the West Stand.
@@davidbadcock2225 Hello, david! Thanks for offering your take on it. I take your point about Symmetry. But an extended Facade would have provided another swathe of useful interior space. And . furthermore, I think additional views out onto the Plaza, whilst not Spectacular, would certainly be impressive from any perspective.
@@mikeoglen6848 If I built my own house, I would have a lot of (intelligent) glass, so I get your point about wanting more of it. Without having been involved directly in the decisions about the cost of getting the right balance between external appearance, the engineering practicalities of a stadium and hospitality requirements, it's perhaps a completely trite, theoretical point. We can all increase someone else's costs. It will have been those boring parameters that will have driven the scope for the components of the overall appearance, symmetrical or otherwise. Getting the balance right is one of the reasons that training to be an architect takes much longer than most other professions. If you feel strongly about it being wrong may I suggest you contact Dan Meis for further discussion?
Really enjoy your videos esp. as I'm 4000 miles away in frigid Chicago - I should know this but i don't - what is the old buiding on the right? We haven't moved St Lukes over have we :)?
It's the old pump house for the dock, a hydraulic tower, that's been there since 1883 I think, it's been pointed and made safe and tidy already, it may be used as a Cafe or as an Everton Museum etc. but no decision on that yet.
Nice video. Fair to say that's a shaping up to be a very nice stadium. Lets hope Everton remain in the league otherwise a lot of us may not get a chance to pay a visit lol
Great video as always nick, going to miss them when it’s done. I have to ask: You think they will be adding any ‘blueness’ to the exterior of the stadium? I ask this because all I see is black. Lamp posts - black Fencing - black Roller shutters - black Lower support beams - black/white Would love to see a bit of blue on the outside like what Goodison currently has, just my personal feelings. Would love to hear yours and others.
2 questions … what’s the marks on the contrast from the east front entrance? Is that from footfall, or water not draining right? Secondly , at the base of the north stand, why are 2 of the pillars white while the others are black?
Another belter. Thanks. I’m not sure if Spurs have purposely done it but having called their stadium the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium from day one and not gone straight into a naming rights deal, I think has been a wise decision and planted a seed in peoples psyche. So much so that that’s what they’ll call it forever more. Even if/when they do sign a naming rights deal I think the match going public would always refer to it as Tottenham stadium. I know these deals can be very fruitful financially but I think a couple of years with our ground called The Bramley Moore or Bramley Moore stadium or The It’ll Never Be Built Cone stadium, it’d give the stadium the closest identity to the club and us supporters. Going straight for “Toyota Park” or the likes, I think would forever rob us of christening the ground appropriately.
The stadium has an official name and corporate logo already and has done for ages now. Everton Stadium. I don’t think they’d ever name it after Bramley Moore, due to his links with the slave trade. Although you’re right, that’s what people seem to be calling it. Most likely due to the location. Like Upton Park or Highbury I suppose. They were officially The Boleyn Ground and Arsenal Stadium respectively. 😅
The continued Tottenham Stadium name is not by a decision design, only default. Levy has been trying to get a Naming Rights Sponsorship for their stadium from the outset but they have, so far, failed due to a mixture of them asking for and expecting too much when the stadium is perhaps not so 'unique' and memorable after all, squeezed into a built up area. There are so many other stadia in the London area, used for football and other events. Although one would hope it isn't a factor, one can't rule out some basic aspects like that the ownership reduces scope too, when 'association' comes into play, much as Russian influence may have been a contextual sticking point for EFC if things had turned out differently. TFG will be working hard to bring in the money so I doubt your wish will be granted.
@@davidbadcock2225😆Yeah, I thought it was a stretch to think Levy wasn’t looking for a deal. Regarding us. Maybe I’m solo on this but a couple/few years of having the stadium named after something Everton related, I think would help establish an authenticity for the club. Going straight in with “The Pizza Hut” certainly wouldn’t.
@@bluenosepe I get your point and you're entitled to your opinion. For what it's worth, IMO I don't think "New Everton Stadium" does anything for me, that being the moniker that the club have always promoted since the project started, rather than B-M. I think the club wants to disassociate from B-M because of historical connotations for a worldwide audience. No new name, frankly, will have the same evocative meaning for me as GP but then it's the only name I've ever been used to, not being old,or red, enough to have associated with the earlier ground.
Another great fly around as usual Nick can you tell me what will be the parking facility around Bramley more stadium because parking could be not good don’t expect you to know but thought you might check it out thanks
There isn't any parking everywhere has parking permits for a 3 mile radius, will be shuttle buses running from sandhills and city centre to stadium I have a feeling a train station will be built between sandhills and Moorfields in next 3 years I think they will get funding for infrastructure for euros 2028
Parking will be minimal. It is one of a number of logistical challenges that having the stadium on the banks of the royal blue Mersey will be created. If you look at the opening of this video, you'll see the approach to BM. You have to walk half a mile north or south before you come to another road going east. If you live south of BM, as I do, the journey home will be one holy challenge. I've brought this up too many times already, so I'll sign off now. COYBs.
@colinmumford267 they won't build a station there in the next decade and it wouldn't particularly help increase train capacity as it would be on the same line.
I agree. I'm worried, it still looks Threadbare - even after all these lights on it. Has something gone wrong here? Wrong seeds selected, wrong Threads used...?
Congratulations on being one of the 10k, Colin. I am sure all will be well with the pitch grass, as science/technology is more reliable than people's prejudiced guesses.
I can't wait to see those electronic advertising boards work. CP Overview did zoom into that area and there are definitely ad boards installed. Not like the old days when people would just stick advertisement cardboards like Smith's Crisps or beer at the side of the pitch. Football has come a long way since then and better for it. Great video Nick. Do you know how long Everton's temporary base will stay for? They will eventually have to give up that land to United Utilities.
Another fad job Nick, a bit off the subject but do you know what that car car compound is about !! Just noticed a few pallets south east corner could be the memory Stones !
What is that swamp next door why does all that water just sit there which looks toxic I like the docks around and I know they will get improved in the years but that swamp needs sorting it’s a bad eye sore from the air
Its such a shame that such a magnificent stadium is going to have to host this appalling Everton team ! Whether in the Prem relegation zone or the Championship
The thing about science is that it discovers the 'natural order' of things. Grass requires different wavelengths in the light spectra at different stages in its growth for maximum pitch strength. At first it requires wavelengths that gets the seeds to germinate and the initial blades to grow upright. Later it requires light to maximise lateral growth, further encouraged by cutting the tips, of course. These UV light arrays can be changed in the spectra accordingly, just like the 6 identical arrays located at GP.

@@bluenosepe The Pizza Hut would be quite fitting mate considering the back of the south stand looks like a pizza oven
The pitch won't be pristine for the 18's game but it'll be way better than a top flight pitch of the 80's and 90's.UTFT
COYBs.
@@colinmumford267 But remember we are not in the EU anymore...
@colinmumford267 they won't build a station there in the next decade and it wouldn't particularly help increase train capacity as it would be on the same line.
@@JayEFC1969 Unless the station itself were to have a second/spur line so that other trains could still pass through without stopping.
I think we should have a roller skate rink on the roof. Extra revenue.
What I like, and I hope it stays this way, is that there isn’t any lettering or logos in the seats.
Who is here after everton won against spurs 3-2
Anyone know what they are gonna do with the Hydraulic tower yet?
Walton nick, "Dya do Delivery,s"?
4 weeks to first test that pitch still looking patchy ,got my e-mail confirmation for first test am one of the lucky 10k
Totally agree....guess the guys looking after the pitch know what's best.
I agree. I'm worried, it still looks Threadbare - even after all these lights on it. Has something gone wrong here? Wrong seeds selected, wrong Threads used...?
@@mikeoglen6848 You worry way too much, Mike. The pitch will be fine
@mikeoglen6848 - I'd say it will be fine, the pitch was delayed and should have started around 6 x weeks before it actually did.
Congratulations on being one of the 10k, Colin.
I am sure all will be well with the pitch grass, as science/technology is more reliable than people's prejudiced guesses.
Looking the part now Nick......Come on Moyes 4-4-2-1 today please ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK
I don't think we'd get away with that formation 😂😂😂
how fans more in liverpool city
liverpool fc or evertoon fc
Land O'rourke haven't dismantlement any of their construction offices.
Now I want a muffin
I can't wait to see those electronic advertising boards work. CP Overview did zoom into that area and there are definitely ad boards installed. Not like the old days when people would just stick advertisement cardboards like Smith's Crisps or beer at the side of the pitch. Football has come a long way since then and better for it. Great video Nick. Do you know how long Everton's temporary base will stay for? They will eventually have to give up that land to United Utilities.
Stripes on the pitch. had a cut or at least been mown I reckon.
rolled
Can they afford it nowaday though?
And still the temporary roadside barriers.
Another fad job Nick, a bit off the subject but do you know what that car car compound is about !! Just noticed a few pallets south east corner could be the memory Stones !
nil satis naisy Optimum
Be a good championship stadium that
Pillock.
Unlikely!
Gobshite
He doesn't alf Drone on!
The should of made it blue, not pink.
SHAME MUCH PREFERRED THE OLD HISTORIC STADIUM. FOOTBALLS LOST ITS SOUL.
It’s ok. The gas memorial stadium in Bristol is far superior.
😆🤣🤣🤣
What are those concrete blocks in front of the entrances in front of each goal?
