- Finished 9th in the world with 973*. Share your score and how you handle this map.
*It was a so-so run. There were definitely some major and minor mistakes along the way. How many can you spot? I think that when you get a Top Ten it's not something to be upset about, though there's a lot I can learn about Lagos and doing better next time. It's been nearly a year since I had a Top Ten on this map.

I got 425, being very unpragmatic and unwilling to spend tunnels early.
7:35 Do you think it could've been worth it to deploy a new line simply to deliver triangles from the northern parts of Brown and Pink? Idk.
I think your run here was good. Hmm... and not sure what mistakes you're referring to actually.
Lagos is one of those maps that tunnels are a must. It's kind of annoying. I actually think my early game is so ugly here, but again it works. The blue inverse twist is something I really hate.
7:35 I made good decisions it was just a really, really hard map. Maybe using that line would have been good. Normally I know what comes next and was preparing for that. I should have prepared more for the northern area that was not very heavy in overlap. Pretty annoyed at the way this turned out.
I appreciate your kindness in the run. I agree it was good, just had a bit more to give. My mistake was really not treating the northern red circle as part of the heart earlier and doubling it up. I know that seems silly, I actually normally don't see that issue. It was heavier than normal, which is often how DC can make it fun/challenging. It got me good.
@@DaveKaufman This challenge was awful in terms of getting very high scores. You handled the confusing seed well I think. Keeping in mind that you don't know what's coming while playing, I don't see any large mistakes still. But now knowing the end, yeah you're right about where and when trouble arose I think.
@@woxiong I truly think this game has lasted so long and done well because of the DC variances. I truly appreciate the nature of the approach. It's great to not know how this will play out.
