He also has no idea what a Vault Dweller is. For all he knows she could be working for the Brotherhood as an informer and knows that Tirus was the knight they sent to Filly.
@@kevenpinder7025 Its the same with a regular audio jack headset as long as it has split audio. You can tell by looking at how many rings the jack has. 1 ring is mono audio, 2 is dual audio, 3 is dual audio + mic. Technically 2 rings could be mono audio + mic, but that's more rare these days.
The storylines are really well done in this show. I found myself super invested and wanting more every time they switched from the vaults, the surface, the ghoul, the past, etc.
I'm glad you didn't get angry at Lucy for screaming, "Why?!" like she was mad at Maximus (which I've seen in other reactions). I think she was just exclaiming that as in, "Why did that have to happen like that", "Why did they have to attack and not just walk by", or "Why are things so terrible up here". Just my interpretation.
Having played Fallout 4, this show had me bouncing off the walls! Especially since I couldn't guess what's coming next. It's sooo good. Really enjoying your reactions, can't wait for you two to get further.
Shady Sands is the very first settlement you run into after leaving the Vault in Fallout 1. It's just a tiny little outpost founded by people from a different vault that went to hell (on purpose) and left to try and have a better life on the surface. In fallout 2 which takes place decades later is is now a thriving town and capital of the NCR. Obvoiusly after that bad things happened and it went boom which you'll get to later in the series.
Yes, the RobCo Pip-Boy is the clunky wrist device. PiP stands for Personal Information Processor. Every vault dweller is issued one. You need to connect it to the opening mechanism to activate the massive vault door.
I'll say one thing in defence of Maximus lying to Lucy - although she had forgotten, she's already heard him introduce himself as Knight Titus when she saw him in Filly. If she had remembered that later after he had said his name was Maximus it may have caused some awkward questions. Plus, he had just opened up to Thaddeus and it nearly got him killed, so that was probably on his mind as well. Not saying it was the right call, but there was some justification.
YESSS! Gosh I've been waiting for this episode! I am LOVING watching you both watch through this series~! Your reactions are also so great! Keep on Keeping On, Ladies! Very excited for the next episode!!

I'll keep my mouth shut about whether you got anything right or not (you'll see for yourselves soon enough) but you come to some interesting and well thought out conclusions. You two are going to love the last 3 episodes! Each episode gets better and better from here on.
Tatos are one of the staple foods grown in irradiated wastelands in the games, a cross-breed of tomatoes and potatoes. There's also Mutfruit, a mutated fruit that's looks like a big lumpy purple or blue passionfruit. Now I find myself wondering if there's something in the Jello stockpiles in those Vaults, and that's why they all like Jello-cake and always vote for the trades from 31. That would be in keeping with the level of silliness in the games. There is a personality-altering food in one pre-war location in Fallout 4.

I think, if he'd revealed *before* branding him, he'd have had a better chance. But that I think turned the pain from pride to shame in an instant, cause it wasn't a knight, now it was just a squire, and the guy they'd been picking on.
i've heard from big fallout fans (like BIG ones) that the lady in the bridge scene with Lucy and Max is a recognizable character from Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas, i think. they said she at least looks extremely similar to that character. just another easter egg for the fans that isn't necessary for newcomers to know. i respect stuff like that from the filmmakers of this show.
Thank goodness for this episode. This is the first time I have had any level of investment of anything in this show. I get the feeling that there is just not going to be anything for me to have an attachment to a character so I am going to focus on the mysteries.
Y’all are gonna LOVE the next episode. Cameos, backstory, wild and crazy weird things, etc This the part where the show REALLY gets good. Vault 4, the vault they’re in now, is REALLY fun…if you can get past the vaults purpose. I don’t know if you’ve picked up on it yet but each vault has its own purpose and vibe and culture etc and Vault 4’s purpose is…interesting. But it makes for some of the coolest character designs it’s really fun to see.
Ladies, what a great reaction!! I so look forward to seeing your reactions to the last 3 episodes in the series. I'll be honest, I could have watched an additional 5 episodes of just past of Cooper Howard and present with The Ghoul. Yes, he is my favorite character in this series. One of the favorite companions from Fallout 4 is Hancock, the ghoul. Oh and just for your information, one of the available perks in Fallout 4 is Cannibalism, ie, restoring health from eating corpses. But don't worry, there's only 2 possible companions who aren't put off by it, lol.
Every time Norm and Betty interact I can sense her wheels turning. "He knows too much." "He can't be trusted." "Pretty soon that boy gonna need to have himself a "accident."" BUT "Perhaps he could be turned. He would be a great asset. (Sinister laughter)"
No, he lie and keep lying, he have no authority to promise anything, even if he was a knight still he wouldn't have the authority to send a group of knights in a misión.
@wilfredonievesjr Huh, somebody recently updated his IMDB, then, because I definitely remember checking that a couple months ago. Makes more sense, though.
They don't have to watch everything! Maybe: top ten Classic episodes = Star Trek 1 to 6 = top twenty "The Next Generation" episodes = Star Trek 7 to 10 = the three J.J. Abrams Star Trek movies? ✌️
Even as someone who’s played all the games, the show gave me that same sense of mystery and constant guessing, which is what makes it so special.
Lying won't make him friends, but telling the truth almost got him killed, so can you blame him?...
He also has no idea what a Vault Dweller is. For all he knows she could be working for the Brotherhood as an informer and knows that Tirus was the knight they sent to Filly.
He also clearly has minimal Speech skill and fails every single check he attempts 😂
Hayley's audio being only on the left ear was weird, especially since she's on the right of the screen, lol
Hopefully in future videos she can copy the mono track to the right channel also
