I am addicted to these two people. Watch them over and over. Can't figure out when you love someone as you can tell they loved one another they couldn't work it out.
when thay lived in lakeland flordia we lived a 1/2 mile away from them this is where this song came from both are great and ill have that memory till the day i die thank you george and tammy the best country has to offer in my oppion
Now this is country music. The stuff they call country today is pop music, and that's not a compliment. Pop music is the worst. If you love the blues, country, or rock, you can be sure that some pop "musician" will find a way to screw your music all the way to hell and back.I've always loved country from the 40's-early 80's. Now, I can't stand to watch or listen to what they call country. I was at George's funeral and cried like a baby.
so glad I was born in 1973 cause growing up my sisters n I sang these songs in talent shows n karaoke always won but it wasn't about the prize it was for our love for pure country
Thanks for posting. I saw this great concert on HBO if memory serves me right. Sweet to see those two showing love to one another. What a rocky tumultuous marriage they had. Sad. King and Queen of country. R.I.P
Life is a struggle to pull your problems to the top of the mountain. When you and your wife pull together, you have a chance to get there. Just a chance, but the only one you will ever have.
So sad everybody is dying....Another (one of the best) GREAT COUNTRY ENTERTAINERS entered the "Portals of Heaven." To go see HIS "TWO STORY HOUSE" (Mansion) in the sky (HEAVEN).
they were so good together even after they divorced. now I like a new couple who remind me of how great these two were.now I love Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Faith Hill is a huge fan of Tammy and Tim loves George.
They were so good together....they should have stayed together, and worked it out, since they both loved each other until Tammy died...she always played his music even after they parted according to her biography....
They were great together but she couldn't put up with his drinking that's why they divorced n lived on their own. They did for sure still loved each other though. RIP Tammy and George
Watching this, can there be any doubt that these two loved each other for the rest of their lives, even though they divorced? No disrespect meant to George's current wife, Nancy...and I understand that Tammy's last husband was a ba$tard. She has been gone for 15 years. I hope they are together again, singing for all eternity.

@stangrub1 amen
I'm co-writer of this song, but I've never seen this particular performance. What show is it from? Thank you for posting it.
