He says that we shouldn't rely on our own understanding perhaps the delayed employment you have been experiencing is God protecting you or preparing you, working on your character or strengthening you. Hold on to hope, God is aware (probably testing you; how much can you take before you throw in towel). He's not blind to your frustrations. I also am unemployed for a couple of years now and it feels some type of way to see my peers progressing in life, achieving big things and starting families while I feel like only time is moving on my end but I still trust that God has the best in store for me. I pray and fast and I remind him that he says I am his that he will meet my needs and every day I am expecting an email or a phone call for a job because my God is amazing there's no good thing he'll withhold from me.
