Oissev Onos The reason he said they were unfair was because the demands didn’t line up with how Lasker gained his title for example with the different time control etc.
@Oissev Onos I hope you're trolling. Lasker's stipulations were so ridiculous that it made me lose all respect for the man. They can be accurately summarized by a middle finger raised in the direction of any chess loving individual. Let's face it: Lasker might have been a great player. A great sportsman or person he was not.
@Oissev Onos #4 Lasker wants Capablanca to give up his part (equal) ownership of their games. That's absurd. #9 is 12 moves per hour. The standard was 15. Yes, Lasker is getting old. If it favors youth, well that's life! Imagine an aging boxer demanding 2-minute rounds instead of the normal 3-minute rounds. That would be just as absurd. I want to state also that I have been a student of Lasker for many years and he is highly respected by me. Even so, these stipulations are, in my opinion, unfair and Capablanca was justified in rejecting them.
Reasons for subscribing 1. A clear and pleasing voice. 2. Clarity of chess logic (helps to advance in knowledge for beginners). 3. Gives photos and background of chess masters (interesting). 4. A good draw is often more enjoyable or educational than aa easy win. I personally enjoy watching the struggle, draws included, between two great players.
I like to see the big crush, blood on the board I guess. Unless it's one of my favorite players getting crushed. But you're probably right. Tricky tactics, knowing strategy, or even just the way chess works can compensate for no blood. Unless it's a draw by gutless play.
@@terrymarshall8746 yes a draw where both players gave their all is certainly more entertaining than... i don´t know... play 10 moves and then agree to a draw

Capablanca thinking about Lasker: "What's special about that guy? I can do his hair. Ah, it's the mustache! Well then, I will become the WCGM without having a mustache."

Thank you for deciding to show this draw, excellent game by 2 of the strongest players in the world at the time. The true fans don’t mind fighting draws
Frank Marshall is one of the most spectacular players to watch. It's very fitting that he's remembered with an attack named after him. He made chess games feel like duels.

I feel it's a shame that Agadmator's language when describing checkmates has become so overly-precise because of pedantic commenters. His use of language is brilliant, I promise you. When he says 'there are no more checks' or 'and this is checkmate' even though there technically are more delaying moves, his language is correct. It's the listener who is wrong for not understanding what the sentence means in context. All meaning varies with context. I wish he'd go back to speaking stylishly in these situations, as he does naturally the rest of the time.
Agreed. I don't really mind either way honestly, but everyone knows what he means when he says these things. It's either a person joking, or (hopefully not...) people who just have to be "right" for no reason, even if it's just technically right.

regarding Capablanca vs. Lasker: I think Lasker's unfair demands he presented Capa are the same he suggested Schlechter! That is the reason to why Schlechter went all out even though he was leading the match by a point!!!
