My husband too was "hypertensive diabetic" for 14 years A1C @13! Turns out he was neither of those things. He had a tumor size of an orange on his right adrenal gland. Deadly condition called pheochromocytoma.
As soon as he had his tumor removed his sugar and blood pressure went back to normal.
However he was left disabled @39 years because "medical professionals" failed to properly diagnose him on time. Now I can't help but to give huuuge eye roll every time someone gets diagnosed with "diabetes". There are tons of conditions that cause high blood sugar, high BP. Doctors don't want to look for a cause and give lazy "diabetes" diagnosis left and right.
Jesus Christ, my God, saved what was left of my husband's health and our life together.
