  • The Specialized Globe Haul LT is a longtail cargo ebike that is amazing. I got this bike as an upgrade over an entry-level longtail that I had. This bike is amazing at carrying cargo and carrying my two kids around. I highly recommend this longtail ebike for anyone in the market for a good, well-built longtail. Outside of the high-end longtails from companies like Tern, Yuba, or Xtracycle, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better longtail ebike.
All that being said, in this video, I take out Specialized Globe Haul LT on a DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub shift and see how it performs.

Great review, I have gone to my local bike shop and looked at this bike twice but after this review I think I am sold. It was watching you ride with no hands that did it

This was the most important thing for me - that it was sturdy and didn't have any wheel wobble. My last longtail (the Aventon Abound) had insane wheel wobble that I couldn't get over.

    One minor, but interesting detail:
Specialized put 160mm crank arms on this bike, which is shorter than the all-too-typical 170mm. I think it's a great move (better for shorter riders, and science has shown it's equal in power/performance for fairly tall riders too). How did it feel?

Thanks for the video, what bag are you using below the handlebar?

This bike needs either a high quality suspension stem or a suspension front fork to ease the stiff riding as having a STEEL fork and being low to the ground that 20" tires and a rider would feel more of the bumps compared that to taller rim bicycle wheels; A Vecnum suspension stem or maybe even a Kinekt suspension stem. I like this bike and would use it exclusively for long travel Bike Touring: Me, my two dogs (soft crate fitted between child safety bars; snug and secure), and all my necessary camp and food gear to bring with me. What I like about this e-cargo bike is the sturdy frame construction.

Curious what your previous longtail was.
I've just sold my car for a cargo bike and I'm planning on doing deliveries on it too so your channel is of great interest to me!

Hey. My last longtail was an Aventon Abound. I ended up selling it just because I couldn't get over the wheel wobble issues.

Do you haul this on a bike rack behind your vehicle or have any viewers? I would like to drive a bike like this to a car commuter lot and then make the remainder of my commute on a cargo ebike like this.

I don't have a rack for it for my car. I'm sure there is one that'll work for it, but I think it'll be a pain. If you're commuting with a car, I'd probably recommend a folding bike or an electric scooter that can easily be carried in a car. Brompton perhaps?

Have you found a rain canopy accessory that will keep passengers dry?

Unfortunately I haven't. Really would be nice if specialized makes a rain cover.

What’s that passenger seat you added? What bike lock do you use when you do deliveries?

I use the Thule Yepp Maxi for my kid and the Yuba Mini Spot for my bigger kid who doesn't need the bike seat. I have a video that goes over all the accessories I use here: ruclips.net/video/9FilTKDWlmI/видео.htmlsi=hX6QBAABMWibAXAf
