Unfortunately didn't go to the market last month when we went to Benidorm for holiday😢just went to the indoor market but bought my granddaughter one of those lovely Spanish traditional dresses with matching fan and hair clip and i got one of those fake designer bags

Is it true the market is closing later this year
With street market vendors it is necessary be careful and watchful of pricing. Sometimes/ most often the street vendors have same or even higher prices then the "stone Stores" which is unfair, because the people or companies, who own the stone stores must pay for it and also paying taxes...so it cuts in their profits. And the large chains like Mercadona, Eroski Carrefour or AlCampo and others have most of the time better quality produce, which is also better "after processed" - meaning the fruits and vegies have minimum residual contaminants as pesticides and herbicides and bacteria, because they cannot afford to get sued for poisoning or illness. Where the street markets-even though a lot of it is bought in the same whole auction places like Merca Alicante, Merca Murcia or similar-street markets have also small growers and vendors, whose "after-processing" is often questionable, but the people are not aware of the fact, they have to very carefully and thoroughly wash the stuff and also cook it very well to get rid of contaminants and bacteria There were cases in the past, where people were dying of poisoning, buying foods at the street markets.
