He got 5th at Apex in 2015 and wouldn't top 8 a major until EGLX 2018, after which he started to top 8 regularly.

Amsa makes Melee very entertaining.
No offense to Aklo, but this is a true honers vs. innovators situation. Amsa is already playing 2023 melee while everyone else is asleep at the wheel.
thing about using matchup data like that is that it IS very old data, & the level of play increases from month to month
So refreshing to see the type of kills scored by Amsa's yoshi, the variety is great for making for an exciting finals. Starting to feel a bit bored always seeing shine into upsmash over and over again
AMSA's not even playing melee. He's just testing his controller at this point to make sure every single button works.

He parried it. If I remember my Yoshi facts right, the power shield window and parry window overlap for a few frames, meaning it’s possible to power shield the laser with a parry.

At 13:35 the walking pushes link the off ledge, and out of shield. Downsmash caught link on his way to grabbing ledge. I’ve seen Amsa do it before on a Plat too. Big brain stuff 🧠

Make some good points about why Leffen should be banned by ruined it by comparing it to death note and having the whole thing being made under the influence of drugs.
