Carnage is offspring of Venom And it's not the only one Venom will have... And yes there's an anti-venom character already ... All symbiotes Have a hive mind throughout the Multiverse they're kinda of linked together.. The reason why he recognizes Peter... Because Spider-Man 3 That venom encountered Spider-Man

Venom got pulled into that universe just like green goblin and all them got transferred to that universe. Then the end credit scene they showed Eddie and venom get transported back to their right universe when dr strange did the spell to make everyone forget. A little piece of venom got left behind so I assume we will see a version of venom in the MCU eventually!

So I'm gonna tell what exactly happened in end credit scene:-
This venom is of other universe and when they were talking, tom Holland's spiderman did the spell with Dr. Strange and brought this venom into tom's universe. Venom knew spiderman through hive mind because there was venom in Tobey's universe. Now after tom cured every villian and sent them back, this venom was also sent back(aka post credit scene of spiderman: no way home) . Venom 2 movie was released before the no way home so it makes sense, it just that you have watched in wrong sequence that's why there's confusion. Hope that help

I'm sure Tom Hardy Venom will meet Andrew Garfield Spider-Man.
What vemon was talking about and him recognizing Spider-Man on tv even though he never met him is the symbiote species have a hive mind that works throughout the multiverse or spider-verse. So that's how he recognized Spider-Man's face and that's also how vemon was sent to the MCU. Doctor strange spell in Spider-Man no way home pulled in everyone who knew Spider-Man's true identity accept his best friend MJ and his aunt leaving only the other Peter Parker and they're villains with other villains from throughout the spider-verse. Vemon never met Peter Parker but another symbol like the one from the Tobey Maguire universe did so he knows of Spider-Man and and his secret identity through the hive mind.

Loved your guys reaction to the sequel! Venom and Eddie’s relationship clearly needs some couples therapy but nevertheless they are adorable.
Venom destroying Eddie’s motorcycle was to keep him safe.
Now, symbiotes get stronger than their parents. And Carnage is red because of how he came to be-blood.
And Mulligan will be stronger than Carnage as his symbiote, Toxin, is his son.
Carnage is often someone that is one of Marvel’s evilest villains. In a crossover with DC even Joker found Cassidy insane. If Joker finds you unbearable you know that isnt good.
If you remember from "No Way Home", every villain who knew Spiderman's identity that died ended up in "No Way Home" MCU movie... So... Techinally... Venom... the
Symbiote... while not the same one on "Spiderman 3" and he stated that they were a Hivemind... somehow he got mixed up in the multiverse... which makes sense. SONY was trying to get
them to interconnect, but at the end of "No Way Home", Disney was like "Nope! Go back to SONY... but we'll take the Symbiote... for later *squinty eyes*" lol at least that's how I interpret that ending. lol
I was disappointed in this version of Carnage, While they picked the perfect casting for Cletus Kasady, they way it was directed was kind of tame for him to be that way... he was way more visious
in the comic and kind of tamed here... he should've been the main baddie in a 3rd movie, like the ultimate villain to defeat... but that's SONY for you... screwing up every Spiderman villain with their own movie, one at a time... But Venom is the Acception... dig him here.
