:) The pop up book (which I made myself) along with the girl at the end, and the dragon, are all filmed with stop motion photography. I then drew the characters on paper and coloured them in Photoshop - there's 1,651 drawings just of the characters, ouch! I put it all together using After Effects.

Ever so sorry@@HypnoticFrog, that was 14 years ago and I haven't the foggiest! I've been recording my working progress for years so would usually be able to answer this question but I don't have notes that go back that far. I'd imagine it would have been 2 or 3 months worth of work.
I've known of this video for a couple of years now. I can't tell you how deeply moving to me the animation is. The mix of stop action with smooth motion in the same scene is a delicious visual sensation, especially the room with moving pictures. Brilliant. This is beyond well done. You are very talented.

I watched this when it was brand new, and I’m almost 30 now and still watch this music video and jam to it in my music library. The artwork and animation here is something I’ve never seen anywhere else though, so I always have to come back to watch this!

I cannot get over how beautiful this truly is. The animation is breathtaking, and as an animation student myself I can only begin to imagine the blood sweat and tears it must have cost to produce something like this. Honestly, well done. Amazing stuff.

this reminds me of when my family were all together in a cottage in wales ready to go to my brothers wedding.......my uncle came over from oz for the wedding, we were all together as a family, sadly my uncle went back oz and died eighteen months later of cancer..i always think of him when i see a shooting star or listen to this music x god bless
