A small beer shouldn't be a problem for most people, larger quantities might trigger seizures. We recommend alcohol-free beer which has become quite popular...
Smoking is not good for your health in general, but as far as we know, it does not trigger epileptic seizures. However, heavy smoking is not good for the blood vessels in your brain and increases the likelihood for epilepsy in older adults.
You can smoke and drink just always make sure to take your meds regularly. If you don’t take your meds and smoke and drink you will wake up to a lot of people telling you you scared them 😂
@@Ruderaymothanks…I just got keppra and I literally smoke most days so mentally this is pretty tough 😭 I’ve literally cut everything cold turkey I feel like I’m feening now
The doctors did computer tomography 4 times and other tests at least 5 times and the doctor says it's not epilepsy, but I had one attack after drinking alcohol for a year. I don't drink for a year. Will something happen if I drink on my birthday?
Most often, people get alcohol-related seizures after withdrawal, when they are used to drinking a lot of alcohol and then stop. So drinking a moderate amount on your birthday is unlikely to cause a seizure. Just make sure you don't drink too often or too much in the future. www.therecoveryvillage.com/alcohol-abuse/alcohol-and-seizures/
False propaganda! Alcohol does trigger seizures! Last night while sleeping I drank two beers, and they had a seizure while sleeping! This is common. As you can see the video producers promote alcohol I'll call consumption and alcohol sales
Because it happens to one person doesn't mean it happens to everybody. And two beers - depending on the size of the bottles - is already more than we would recommend. Of course, you are on the safe side without alcohol.
Thank you for this information!

@@elomelinio2968 If you drink heavily, there is a risk. I would start carefully.

Also. If it took that long for the seizure then it means that alcohol was not the trigger.... It was the withdrawal
