TCM was the real introduction to techno/house music for many growing up in the States, mid-late 90s. I remember buying Community Service when I was a kid in highschool and blasting it in my first car. The part at 3:09 says a lot - an ode in itself to the brain washing of today's mainstream.
I do fully agree...but I actually haven't heard this song til now and it just seems to be a simple remix of Evil Nine's original Cake Hole song...is it actually attributed to Evil Nine originally, or did TCM just remix it and give it the same name? Saw different versions of the title online and was curious...I know they aren't generally that type of guys anyway, since they are amazing composers themselves! (don't wanna provoke any controversy by saying they're better than Evil Nine, of course)
my first ever CD on actual house music. I was so scared buying it, because I thought I would be judged. Fastforward 2 hours, i was blasting it in my sony discern for hours upon hours.
yeah but maybe you're just listening to different artist and step into this one n if u dont like it u let em know....having said this i still struggle to understand haters
this quote has been credited to Jack Kornfield, according to a single post on reddit. i cant find any other information on the internet. i did listen to his voice in a few other videos, it is a possible match, hard to tell due to the distortion used on this track.
500! I listened this album so many times in the past. Good to be back here in the end of 2022.
This album is one of their best

@@nicolaescu3 this album is full remix. That is why I can't get it on Amazon music. Stupid copyright stuff
Community service is awesome. Tune right here boys, along with this whole album.
@plasmaforce11
It's an Evil 9 track heavily remixed and on TCM's Community Service, so technically he's correct.

@@impetus444It is definitely Jack Kornfield, it is from the "Roots of Buddhist philosophy" series - well worth seeking out.
