Puerto Rico absolutely well. Fantastic. In this moment already she was chose miss universe. I was there, when she come in, game over.
Trivia: Miss Paraguay’s evening gown were missing and one of her fellow candidate allow her to borrow a gown (that green gown she’s wearing) but it doesn’t fit Miss Paraguay perfectly so she improvised the gown to make the neckline lower and i hoped you noticed that she’s only wearing one earring because the other pair was on the chest part of the dress

Wow, what's a coincidence with me. Canada gown is superb and she performs well (even looks same with Natalie). Bolivia is so sweet and her gown is hard to carry because the horizontal waves. Mexico is the strongest package as her face looks alike Natalie and body is superb but pity ruin by her gown, not suitable for her at all.

Actually they are biased with usa. Miss USA gets same opportunities as a miss universe, same apartment. Also no matter how bad the contestant is their place is always fixed in top 20. It's like once you win the crown of miss USA no matter you win miss universe or not still you will be treated as one.👎

I thought she walked amazingly but I also thought it was her walk in the dress that really took it.i find though that younger pageant fans tend to favor the lava dress while long time pageant who witness that Puerto Rico moment unfold knew how iconic the dress was.btw did you know that Ms Puerto Rico dress was extremely heavy that she fainted shortly after being crowned by that time the cameras for home viewing were off?
Yet look how effortless she walk in that gown no one knew at the time how heavy it was till she explained why she fainted

bubble butt, seems that Puerto Rico is extra-mindful when she walks because of that floppy tail-end of that chainmail gown. the bottom part doesn’t look right to me. It gets in the way of Puerto Rico’s walk. so, in my opinion, i don’t think it’s the best gown ever in MU history. i think the best gowns are: MU2016 Iris Mittenaere (France), MU2018 2nd runner-up Sthefany Gutierrez (Venezuela), MU2008 1st runner-up Taliana Vargas (Colombia) and the best gown is the fiery gown of MU2018 Catriona Gray (Philippines).
Her gown was designed by the same person who designed the latest miss world from Puerto rico in 2016 ( a ball gown)

Did any feel goosebump when Zuleyka come out on stage? I mean the timing is really perfect with the background music. OMG! I think the whole audience amazed by her aura especially the gown. Its so amazing. I remember watching this show live on TV. I was so impressed with the gown. Definately the most memorable gown in Miss Universe history!

De acuerdo con muchos expertos y conocedores de miss universe el traje de Zuleika ha sido el vestido mas memorable del concurso en en los ultimos 30 años seguido por el de Jennifer Hawkins de Australia y Oxana federova de rusia,luego destronada. Los vestidos de finales de los años 90 y la primera decada del millenio fueron super originales y vanguardistas . Ahora con exepcion de ciertos trajes como el de south Africa y el de catriona todos son mas de lo mismo.

And you must also look great in a gown and it wasn't so. She looked great in swimsuit and opening number.

Recuerdo muy bien este Evening Gown, para esa fecha ya era mi segundo Miss Universo viéndolo (El primero fue la edición 2005) quede maravillado y por supuesto que no me iba a perder éste.
En el momento que salió Zuleyka Rivera con su impresionante vestido y su singular manera de desfilar, quede atónito.😲🤩 Y dije esta va a ganar, en mi mente, porque era el único de la familia que lo estaba viendo.😂 E incluso hasta la conductora en traducir el evento en México (Martha Debayle) dijo "esta ya ganó". 😅
En fin sé que Zuleyka no es el agrado de algunos, pero para mí su desfile de gala, y vestido icono pasan a la historia en Miss Universe.

@@KEN_of_BORG los que dicen que Japón debió ganar son mayormente filipinos y es más bien por las controversias que ella tuvo anteriormente cuando fue a coronar a Miss Japón y también por que aparentemente habían rumores de que ella estaba saliendo con el esposo de una famosa actriz filipina (cosa que nunca fue cierta) y la comenzaron a odiar y repudiarla y como protesta pues se pasan diciendo que la verdadera ganadora era Japón. USA’s gown in my opinion is one of the worst top 10 gowns I’ve seen in MU. What’s up with the bottom part? It’s like she sprung out of brown crumpled trash. Looks tacky. Sorry. But she could have chosen a way better gown. She’s beautiful, but her gown made her look cheap.
