Reading some of the negative comments below, they are likely from the Legrete group that love to criticize. If this horse was in pain and being forced to do this freestyle, he would not be walking out of the arena so relaxed and content as he does. The proof is in the pudding, i.e. the horse's body language. He goes from medium trot to free walk on long rein with ease and no tension, then back to work to finish the ride. No disobedience as I have seen from some other horses in the past that obviously didn't like their job. This horse does.
The first thing that needs to be considered is the rider, Edward Gal, who is known for having a lack of engagement in his horse's bodies using rollkur on most, if not all of his horses. Totilas and Glocks Total US are great examples. This horse is not the exception as it does not carry it's neck properly at any point in the test (where the poll is the highest point of the neck in collected movement), which prevents proper use of the rest of the horse's body. That is often a sign of riding a horse in an extremely compressed frame that encourages one to be BTV and not truly collect. While this horse surprisingly is not BTV the whole test, as I said, the neck is in such a position that inhibits proper self carriage because of the C2 vertebra breaking instead of the poll having a slight change in angle while still being at the top of the neck. This horse is also sore in the right hind and is most obvious in the passage and piaffe where the right hind is suspended longer than left hind and does not track up (ex. 1:10-1:50). The canter tempis are another example of soreness where the right hind consistently is not tracking when changing to the right lead; you can tell the soreness by the lack of hock mobility on RH in the changes. There is also no true engagement in any gaits, but you can see mostly in the extended trot where, like most modern dressage horses, the horse is overextending in the front but the hind legs are not matching the front angles for true extension. This horse, if not already, will be severely lame before it is 15 years of age due to improper methods. Also, despite horses being very emotional animals who will often revolt at any sign of discomfort, you have to consider that they also will try to hide it as much as possible due to their prey drive. Though, this horse does look uncomfortable by the tension it held over the back in all movements during that test and the amount of foam that it's producing. Remember, while it is natural for a horse to produce foam when riding it should not be coating past the lip. If you are interested in seeing horses at this level that are comfortable and properly ridden I would recommend looking into Reiner and Ingrid Klimke specifically, but also Charlotte Dujardin and Carl Hester are decent examples of nicely ridden horses. Most Olympic level riders from Spain are also great examples as well.

Dont know if you guys cares but if you are bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all of the new movies on Instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my gf for the last couple of days :)
He is not, he is a Dutch warm blood, his name is totilas he passed away from a abusive method called Rolkur, he had a colic attack and died and they whipped him in his stall, he is not a Tennessee walker he is a full blooded Dutch warm blood, you can also see he is in pain, flicking his tail over and over means he is in pain.
In the passage there is a look of hesitation in the hind legs that is result of tension. Overall, this horse is not tense, but the hind legs show some tension in passage. Otherwise a good performance of this horse. He goes from working hard in collection to relaxed on loose rein very nicely.

I shudder to think how much pain that horse is enduring. They try so hard for us, and we repay them by ignoring their physical pain, and the mental stress it causes them. Shameful. The ridiculous comments about how good the music is makes this horrible spectacle even worse. People need to watch these grotesque displays with the sound off.*
Awesome, tail swinging, all the time😮❤❤
