    I saw the show FINALLY for the first time on Broadway last night!!! One of the most incredible original pieces of Musical Theatre ever written. Won the lottery. $10 FRONT ROW ORCHESTRA. Worth seeing.

      Lin knew what he was doing. Its a Les Miserable type sound with a hip hop feel with modern american attitude. That was what I got out of it. The melodies that match each character definitely had a Les Mis feel to it . But its simply a masterpiece.

      Hamilton isn't going anywhere. The tickets will eventually get cheaper. Les Miserable and Cats were ridiculously expensive when they came out and now they are cheap as heck. Hamilton will be in theatres for decades.

    • @anthonygordon9483
      @anthonygordon9483 2 года назад

      If London is anything like Broadway, they will continuously run it for decades. It may be off and on and not the original cast. But it will always be there. They still run Les Mis and Cats on Broadway til this day.

    • @pppenguig2627

      considering they literally just handed the land to canada they very much did care a bit

    • @anthonygordon9483
      @anthonygordon9483 4 года назад +6

      @@pppenguig2627 No they didn't. They were in a war with the french and the only reason france backed america was because they knew Britain would run dry in money fighting two wars. Plus the British Empire was at its height of being the Largest Empire that ever existed. The British Empire was bigger then the Roman Empire. They had too many colonies else where on globe. I believe Britain controlled almost 25% of the world. Thats a lot. Losing Americas was a drop in the Bucket. Plus they still owned Canada which is still part of the British Royal Common Wealth. King George did care and it drove him nuts till he died, but the British People could of cared less. They hated the french more. The only Reason america Revolted against the king was because king george simply didnt care for them and taxed them senslessly. He had no interest in improving their everyday lives.

    • @SamanthaIreneYTube
      @SamanthaIreneYTube 4 года назад +7

      They cared because of the economic boon that America was at the time. America had vast amounts of cash crops for trade, firs, and real estate ripe for exploiting. Plus, Britain had just spent a lot of money winning the French and Indian War and needed to recoup their losses. King George III wasn’t evil, he just wanted the money, land, and power that owning such a large swath of fertile land came with and became obsessed with his loss.

      Not us modern day normal Brits, maybe the bigoted street thugs "defending the statues" then pissing and vomiting beer all over them.

    • @VivaCohen
      @VivaCohen 3 года назад +3

      They definitely cared back then. If you look at historical documents and letters sent back and forth between America and King George, it's apparent that keeping America mattered to them. They just went so broke (them being broke to begin with was why the taxes that started the war were put in place, so they were really broke by the end of the war) they had to quit fighting in the end.
