As a Card's fan, it's rare to see national folks have this kind of insight. As we're not on the 'mainstream' sports meiia often due to various reasons, I feel like the research and insight into what this team is transforming into is lacking, generally. I've been a fan for over 20 years living here and I've NEVER been this excited for the team from the top down and the culture shift this has created. Love you TP and of course, RE :D
You guys were competitive in almost every game despite a stripped down roster and you even humiliated teams like the cowboys and eagles. Cardinals could be scary this year
As a Seattle fan, the non-negotiable for me is that the defense needs to not be horrendous. At least be middle of the pack. But I do think there's enough young talent for this team to be competitive.
@@12thMandalorian Can’t wait for y’all to come to MetLife to play against the Jets cuz the Jets need their get back after that 23-6 loss against you guys in 2022
Regarding the Rams and not having Raheem Morris, that's an UPGRADE. Morris pulled the defense down., allowed teams to do whatever they wanted between the 20's. Was willing to give up field goals... as many as the opponent wanted... and only toughened up the D in the Red Zone largely because he used the reduced field size as a 12th defender. When you play your DB's 12-15 yards off the receiver, those 6-7 yard curls were no harder than layups. If incoming DC Chris Shula is willing to be more aggressive in his scheme, the Rams defense can be something special. It is LOADED with individual talent ESPECIALLY on the DL - Kobie Turner, Byron Young, Jared Verse, Braden Fiske... all four of those guys can get to the QB. Off the bench, is Brennan Jackson who along with Verse were the two most powerful DE's coming out of this year's draft and the Rams got both. If Shula's defensive scheme allows the players to play to their strengths, the D will be better than just fine. If on the other hand, he goes down the same road as Morris whereby he restricts the talent the players bring to the table and instead asks them to play with a limited shell, then the defense will be no better than 17-22 in the final defensive standings.
Not having Hufanga and Greenlaw in the 2nd half of the Super Bowl left a very obvious hole as Kelce started to eat in the middle of the field after Greenlaw’s injury.
Seattles non-negotiable is to improve our time of possession. We have been bottom TOP for the last several years. Defense will get better if we don’t go three and our every drive and they can take a break.
Because they don’t actually pay attention to the Seahawks, and only pay attention to Geno having a statistically down year. They don’t even know that the Seahawks have had a bad defense for the last 3-5 years.
Seattles non-negotiable is to get the word "Potential" out of the Seahawks system. No single word became more a point of mocking in Seattle circles then "Potential" last season and it weighed down this team down the stretch. For every Boye Mafe putting in work in the offseason to get better, you had 3 players looking like they were happy to be on a NFL sideline much less obtaining starting snaps. It was embarrassing and that was the reason more then anything else Pete Carroll had to step down. Their new OC should help this issue on offense but defense doesn't need a overhaul of talent, but a overhaul of mentality. Those players are good, they just need to as a whole, put in the effort to actually show it. You can't have a Devon Witherspoon ball out as a new player and have him be around players who look more latent then some runnerups at this years hotdog contests. Take that P word, throw it out the damn window. Get to work guys.
@@bob-qi4nr You can still dream but in reality in 6 months you will see this come to reality. Cards have an unstoppable offense and the only way you will beat the cardinals is to score 40 points which is probably possible with this D
