Since his screen glowed brighter the first time despite him being nowhere near as mad, and the second time he was asking Val a question, not trying to talk him down from one of his tantrums, so he’d have no reason to up the brightness of his screen since he already had Val’s attention. Usually his screen brightness doesn’t change with emotions but the SECOND Alastor is mentioned that goes out the window XD
