Eh, I think I like the original better. To me, a pistol is a secondary. I suppose I'd have to run around with both to truly pass judgement, but the new one seems too bulky for me to want to holster 99% of the time as a backup.

A question I have about Mk2.1, is it true that I won't be able to use the speed loader on the top of it to load up the external mag while it's in the blaster? I've heard from a few locals that the speed loader will not fit in to the newest version.
Gonna hold out for mk3 (if that ever happens) where they hopefully strike a good balance between the compactness and sleek look of the 2.0, with reloadable mags and non realistic aesthetic of the 2.1 so I can take it out to play with safely.
In comparison my new compact zinc (aka znc) can hit 170+ FPS and is significantly smaller than the Mk2 and an inch shorter than a standard zinc. I've also got a zinc (aka ziiiiinc) to compare to the Mk2.1 that is exactly the same length and hits 230+ FPS using an entire SF25 caliburn spring to drive it.
It's ridiculously large for what it does. You're going to be a cartoon trying to lug that around as a "secondary." People are shooting each other with Nerf guns. It's not hard to deduce. If police are called they're called. If someone tells you to drop the gun, drop it!

I think they both have their place! But I personally tend to gravitate more towards the 2.1 because removable magazines!!!

I prefer mk 2 because it's like the bolt action pistols or triple action thunder than a regular pistol.
