Or even youtube videos with creepy noises, but Sirenhead is just ... some sort of troll with a siren as a head? And it makes siren noises? I mean sirens can be pretty creepy in real life because you know something sad happened, but it's just so goofy looking to me I can't help it :D

Great movie. I’m convinced Siren Head embodies a deeply-rooted fear people from middle America can relate to. That eerie siren goes off. Sometimes you can see it, sometimes it’s rain-wrapped. Even if you can see it, it’s too big to visually comprehend, but it’s coming at you quickly and you can’t outrun it.

I think a full-length movie would deflate the weirdness of the concept. It would be hard to sustain it for that long without either a bunch of expository backstory... or some side-story/characters, like having Siren Head be a part of a larger enigma. Like when short stories get turned into movies... there's usually a bunch of extra 'filler' that detracts from the short pithy original experience.
