The Tabernacle: The Veil

Title: The Veil
Text: Exodus 26:31-33
The Veil was a thick curtain that separated the Holy place from the Holy of Holies. This pictures the righteous perfection of Jesus. We are to be Holy, like He is Holy. However, instead of Christ’s perfect life being an example for us to follow, it is a condemnation of us. It is only after the body (veil) of Jesus is rent on the cross, and His blood shed to atone for our sin, that we have access into the Holy presence of God.
