Thank you very much! I've never done drums before but I'm gonna give this a go tomorrow!
DO NOT PUT ON THE PARKING BRAKE. Chock the front wheels for safety. You won’t be able to get the drum off or back on if the brake shoes are pushed against them due to the parking brake. DUH!
I was about to ask if the e brake was still applied during installation
Not everyone can unlock this achievement.
good thing mine dont work 😂
Thanks for posting this,it helped me a lot!
Why open the hood 🤷🏿♂️
Great comment, and while we are at it, why put the parking brake on? You will never get the rear drum off with it on.
That looks hard.
Great video! Thank so much!
good video guys
1:30 -- what thread pitch is that?

@@Matthew_L Thank you!
Good gawd don't put the parking brake on 🤦♀️
1:11 is completely useless, it would have been more helpful to show the mechanic doing it rather than a confusing diagram. Like is the arrow saying to bend it down or push it forward? How do you actually reach the arm with a straight screwdriver? What is actually going on in that pic? It's so frustrating how these videos are put together.
I don't get why it's always so easy for people in videos. I was pushing on the springs for 20 mins. I can't get it to reach the end of the pin. Same size as the pin that came out. Besides it's aluminum. What happens if the pin cap thing gets bent. Am I skewed.
Yes. If the pin cap thing is bent, might as well just throw the car away.
Didn't replace wheel cylinder either. Bad move
Very strange, everything is in reverse on my truck.
Well played!
@@Zer0FuXGiv3n same, my lever is towards the front 01 4WD SE
Every video starts with the passenger side..lol
Those are shoes not pads
Didn’t even bleed the brakes
@@Chambers-ie8ie you don’t need to if you don’t change out the cylinder.
@@jonathon1242don’t even wanna do a brake fluid flush? I’ve always seen people recommend flushing the old and in with the new.
No details at all of how to do it dont follow this instructions
Doesn’t get any clearer then this😂
What you mean no details at all how to do it. Just showed you step by step in a video how to do it. LOL
If you can't figure it out after watching this video you should not be working on your own Vehicle..
Please, just hire a mechanic if this video isn't up to your standards. Or the 10 y.o. next door...
