Fun Fact : Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen is actually the 1st Game that introduce the Elite Four Rematch.
But it's the second game that introduce the rematch in general. What I mean by that is from Increased level at a same place.
(The first game was actually Ruby and Sapphire from Wally at Victory Road were his team increased once per day.)

It’s strange too see ppl uploading videos on FR/LG. But those games were pretty much masterpieces. No one *hates* them as far as I am aware
Actually when Fire Red and Leaf Green first came out, they were criticized gor "not adding new things".
Can't we just appreciate how Lance was able to stay in the Pokémon leagues of two regions and be the actual champion of one of them?
And replaced the actual champ of Kanto after it given up the title and proceeded to train himself at the summit of Mt. Silver. Technically, Lance is the champion of 2 regions.
For me this was actually a really big deal back then since this was the first time in Pokémon history that the Elite Four became stronger. Combined with the story that unfolds on the Sevii Islands it made FRBG really amazing remakes that I love to replay to this day. :)
I remember feeling exactly the same. I remember the first time I went against their rematch teams, when Lorelei sent out her piloswine I was so shocked lol

Time to revisit my old save files
If I were designing these remakes, here's the team I would give to them.
Lorelei - Glalie, Dewgong, Cloyster, Piloswine, Walrein, Lapras
Bruno - Hitmontop, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Poliwrath, Hariyama, Machamp
Agatha - Dusclops, Banette, Sableye, Misdreavus, Shedinja, Gengar
Lance - Altaria, Gyarados, Salamence, Kingdra, Flygon, Dragonite
Blue - Aggron, Metagross, Tyranitar, and the last 3 would be the same as normal depending on your starter
Early but can we notice he is using reds pokemon gold and silver team

It's a shame that they didn't give them gen 3 pokémon since the national dex is introduced anyway.

Yes, without a doubt! The player obviously made unnecessary choices in selecting his Pokémon and their moves! Clearly, there was a smoother way to get through this match without any loss of Pokémon or unwanted move usage, but I guess they just wanted to drag this battle out for likes and views!😊

The team I used to beat the rematch league was ampharos, tryanitor, slowbro, aerodactyl, hitmonchan, and arcanine.
Imagine if they had a second rematch where they used Hoenn Pokemon, and were at around Level 75 or so.

Agatha was hard the first time she is even harder in this rematch her Male Misdreavus gave me alot of problems but I have always said Agnetha is the hardest member of the Kanto Elite Four.
To me Lorelei was hard because her lapras would spam surf
I actually took down Karen's Gengar with a level 3 pigey sure it was at low health. I know its not a Kanto thing but it's still impressive
I'm gonna have to work on raising the team over level 60 to 90.

you're actually telling me all this time when I was younger I would battle them like 20 times and I never noticed that there levels went up. either I was too strong (because I had a level 100 blastoid by the first match) or I'm just dumb for not noticing

Late response, but resolve the issues that arise on the Sevii islands; once they’re done, you can rematch the e4 and champion with Johto Pokémon on their team.
