Only the guy in the middle who did the reallhy unconventional cover was any good. Everybody else sucked. Can't believe I wasted this much time listening to Eastern Europeans and Russian satellite country people with horrible accents move on to the next round because the judges were surprised someone would try to cover Nirvana.
Just the last guy sounds perfect.

I think Kurt would be happy to see that people still appreciate his music but most of these covers are absolutely horrible. Grunge is a very hard music genre to copy despite sounding effortless from grunge artists
Okay the last guy is pretty damn good and actually presents grunge, he knows what grunge is and probably has listened to every Nirvana song 100 times to be able to replicate heart shaped box so well. IRONICALLY NONE OF THE JUDGES CHOSE HIM THOUGH. Really shows how ignorant people are to what grunge really is because that kid did better than ANYONE else and didn’t get chosen.
Man, U think that Kurt is unique? So u can go and search for Puddle Of Mudd - About A Girl, u will be so thankful for this.
He wasn't appreciated for his singing back in the day, but these amateurs are lightyears away from his level.

Totally changed it was cool, the guy at the end was actually the best as sounded the most like but none were as good or better that’s what a cover should be if you’re going to try sound or be like them or it’s got to be different and captivating for a different reason

Surely! This video must had been better tagged as covers of SLTS, rather than Nirvana. That's cool, but now you know why, after this hit got really big, Kurt used to speed up the tempo whenever they played it, he just wanted to go through it onto the next one 😅

Realmente foi um cover muito bom, lembrou um pouco o MTV Unplugged (se Heart Shapped Box estivesse nesse album seria mais ou menos desse jeito)
Acho q ninguém virou pq ngm se tocou q ele tava tocando e cantando ao mesmo tempo, como eles estão ouvindo só a voz eles estão julgando apenas a voz por enquanto. Também acho que eles esperavam uma coisa mais inovadora ou uma voz com um timbre um pouco mais agressivo pra essa música (principalmente no refrão). Essa música ficou bem na voz dele, mas o refrão não achei tão fiel, criou uma expectativa de uma voz mais "rasgada", mais agressiva, e acabou deixando a desejar. Se ele queria mostrar a voz mais "lisa" poderia ter escolhido músicas como Plateau ou Oh Me, e se queria mostrar uma voz mais rasgada poderia ter escolhido Territorial Pissings. No caso de mostrar as duas técnicas, não achei que Heart Shaped Box ficou legal. Uma que eu acho que se encaixaria melhor é D7 por exemplo, onde a primeira parte é toda lisa e a segunda toda rasgada, continuamente.

the drum intro on smells like teen spirit is a master piece of Dave Grohl. i liked the arrangement of the piano intro to it too.

Last guy was the only one giving an actual tribute to nirvanas songs and legacy all the other ones were too overboard it was all too much screaming while nirvana s songs need a heartfelt passion that comes from within not just screaming so disappointed the judges didn’t turn and kept saying he should scream more while that s just not what nirvana s songs in general need or are , they got it wrong , the last boy did the best imho , I’m just a fan and I’m not elated ( euphemism right there )with the other performances now imagine what Kurt ( rip ) would think , man s rolling in his grave
