I have a 2004 VTX 1300C. The kickstand was hard to figure out at first because you want to push it down, but it swings more out than down. Great looking bike. Enjoy!

Fuel line probably had moisture in it....put fuel line antifreeze in the gas tank. also if the bike has been sitting for a long time in the cold the oil could have thickened. See how it runs once warmed up...if problems persist check the fuel pump.

Your vtx is a 2007, there is no fuel pump! It's gravity fed. The carburetor may need to be cleaned and or valves adjusted and new spark plugs. God bless and ride safe

Use 1 half-second squirt of starter fluid and it will start on the first crank after sitting all winter
