Nice one! I'm glad it was just the oil cooler in the end. Changing a head gasket in a carpark would be no fun at all. By the way, your editing is fantastic!
Cheers Ross, yes thankfully only the oil cooler. But now the heater matrix began to drip some coolant. I bypassed the heater so we will have to do without heat for a while but sure its grand over here with no heat Haha. Dont fancy doing a head gasket here in the carpark 😂😊Thanks for the compliment, Ane is perfecting premiere pro 😝
How do you know so much about engines? The fish tank pump was brilliant!
Well I wouldn't call myself a mechanic or anything🙈 I would know a little bit but it's pretty simple to change out oil coolers and that sort of stuff on these engines 😁😁 hopefully don't need to do it again anytime soon 🙈

Ah Lads put a subaru engine in it. you can keep up with traffic and they are super reliable
I think when we get back from this trip it will be time for an engine upgrade for sure. Do you know if it's much to put a Subaru engine in it?

Have a t3 here in Australia have put a little subaru motor in it, have done some trips in her,replacement parts have let me down, make sure you get genuine vw or equivalent, nice to see you both out there enjoy the adventure

We would love to have one of those caves as our houses lol. They look very cool inside which is great for summer time! Omg... the roo f situation hahahahhaa, Fergus was already taking off hahaahaha. We died with that editing. It feels scary but those are the moments that give you stories to tell in the future! Looking forward to more!
The caves are so cool! We didn't expect them to be so colourful 😍 the wind in the desert is so so strong it was a struggle to get the roof back down 😂😂 As shane always says, "it wouldn't be an adventure if something didn't go wrong!!" 😅 Thanks for watching ❤️

Hahaha I think he likes to enjoy the views and he can actually go way faster 😂😂 Im feeling 100% now thanks! The Pyrenees with no heater were challenging tbh 😅 But I would go back right now I love them that much 😍😍 The caves are absolutely amazing and they are beside the desert so we highly recommend going there for the day 🤗😄 Thanks for watching! ❤
What a week you both have had with van trouble and Ane not feeling well ! Shane you definitely a handy man around engines. Glad it didn't ruin your trip though. Some nice stops on the way to Bilbao. Are you headed for Ireland
I know a disaster 🙈 these old vws are never ending work. We were making are way back towards Bilbao because we will leave the van here for Christmas and Shane will go back to Ireland and then come back out and pick it up in January and we go off again towards Italy

Lucky we had a friend who we could get parts sent to but if you are somewhere and you don't have an adress we just get it sent to the local post office.
