Who had become a big and famous name of Urdu poetry before appearing in films. And he was considered the best poet of love in Urdu poetry.

Romantic songs in Hindi cinema are like an anchor that propels the popularity of a film's film music, its story and its thrill. And in the genre of these romantic songs, in that anchorship, the name of Shakeel Badayuni sahab comes first. The classical melodious romantic songs written by him are golden and ear-pleasing witnesses to this fact.
Thousands of people in Mumbai descend into the depths of the ocean every day for their dreams. Some of them are successful, some are very successful and some fail. But Shakeel Badauni Sahab was different from all of them. Rejecting a job of about four years, he came to Mumbai to give a higher place to his poetry and dreams. And the time also came in 1944, when he decided to write in film,Shakeel Badayuni Saheb, who came to Mumbai leaving his job in Delhi with the dream of becoming a lyricist in films, met film producer KR Kardar and famous music composer Naushad Saheb. And this first meeting itself told that the king of romantic songs has set foot in Mumbai.
Hua Kuch Yun Tha Doston Ki, Shakeel sahab met two big personalities of Hindi films and veteran music composer Naushad sahab asked Shakeel Badayuni to describe his poetic skills..his talent in one line Then everything changed. In the history of romantic songs of Hindi cinema, Shakeel Sahab's first superhit song was sung by Uma Devi, who we know as Comedian Tuntun and that superhit was the first song..
This song became a superhit and for the next 25 years, the pair of Naushad Saheb and Shakeel Badayuni continued to weave the romantic style of Hindi cinema into words and tunes. And this is the reason why people say,..Shakeel Badauni sahab got the golden heart of success as soon as he stepped into films.Which became the classical musical history of Hindi cinema's classic and romantic songs of cult films.
