Suspended sentence? I know a female teacher locally who got probation for sleeping with a 15yo. It's certainly a huge double standard. A male teacher would get at least 10years and no sympathy. As an adult it doesn't matter how forward a juvenile is or if they initiated the relationship. An adult has to put the brakes on that. Adults especially in a position of authority need to maintain a professional relationship. If they don't feel like they can do that then they certainly don't need to be teachers, coaches or priests. A teenager is not mentally or emotionally able to consent to a relationship with you. There are plenty of grown men and women for you to persue. I have no sympathy for her.

I met my partner when I was 22 and he was 15 (through a mistake-- we were introduced to each other as going to the same school, but it turns out there is a high school with the exact same name as my college-- literally "college" is in the name of the HS). We figured out the age difference after we had kissed (when his mom turned out to live at his house and I encountered her... whoops) and were shocked. After that we never had any sexual or romantic contact and in fact stopped seeing eachother (so as not to get into such a situation) until his 18th birthday, after which we dated for 5 years. It *can* be done, just wait if it's that important.
