they're not stepping at the speed they're going they have already released the ball so fast they haven't put their grounded back down so they can 'give it and go' good players often do this

Being a defender sucks, it REALLY sucks when the ball is coming really hard, and you hit it or catch it. My hands go really red, Ow.
