I'm going to say this this is the good anime not the best because it didn't follow the manga well technically it did it cut a lot of things out though it cut some really cool moments out in some context for certain things but this anime does a good job of making you care for the characters
Eh, with the fact (Spoiler I guess) Mine didnt die, nor did Tatsumi ECT I dont think you can really say it followed the manga too well. And the ending they came up with for the anime was trash.

@@festiveastolfo735 The mc is whoever the story follows/the perspective that it is told through, and that is Tatsumi not Akame. Having a side series about someone doesn't make them the mc either. They are the mc of that story sure but doesn't do anything to affect the main one.

If ya dug the anime, the manga is worth it even more since the story really picks up after the anime arc, which was the 1st arc of the series. The second arc shows how macro the game is by implementing more teams globally and displays how sick ppl can be with the power of god.

I adore/hate this anime. The story is intense, the characters are vivid and complex, and the action is a blast. However.....Akame Ga Kill hurts me, and not just once. I'm scared, Papa....I can't sleep, THAT episode is under my bed!
You won't like this series for how many good characters they kill off and how many mediocre or alright characters they let survive. Heck some of these characters had more personality than the MC.
Cant wait for you guys to enjoy this light hearted adventure about friendship and valuable life lessons
