Beeple is nothing else than a big poser. Time will tell who is who, just wait a little bit. After selling his mediocre work as "nft" for $69 million he became allegedly one of the richest artists in the world. If someone decides to wash their money by investing in a piece of art, that art doesn't become any better. This is just a paid marketing, an artificially grown value. Not everything in our world can be measured by money. If his art really has such a huge value, why no one was talking about it before the nft movement. Why nobody paid real money for it ? His art isn't anything special at all. Most of credible art critics could approve this. Beeple even compared himself to a Banksy and even Andy Warhol. That was a really bold move to do. Actually, not so long ago there was one guy who allegedly became a big name over one night. He made a several hundred prints with some help of other paid artists. Actually he didn't do any of these artworks by himself. It was all done only by hired men. And after several years no one talks about him anymore. It was Thierry Guetta aka Mr. Brainwash. He still has a website, but no one cares anymore. Actually he was a kind of a friend of well known graffiti artists like Banksy and Shepard Fairey who helped a lot to attract some audience. When the NFT will be finally dead BEEPLES name will be put in to the grave too.
