Your voice is so soothing to listen to and I take every word you say. Trying out new games/new genres is so fun and I would highly recommend that to everyone as well!
Resident evil 2 remake was my 1st horror game and I liked it alot ive gotten every resident evil remake since then and fell in love with the deadspace remake. All games I would have missed if it weren't for trying out a different genre than im used to
Hades and Dark Souls. If you aren't afraid of difficult games play Ghostrunner. It's basically Doom but melee 1 hit kill everything, including you, except bosses. In 1 and 2 I died 3000 times.
Persona isn't my favorite JRPG, nor are any ATLUS games in my favorites list other than maybe Catherine (original). Under the Knife was a cool DS game back in the day, but Atlus as a whole doesn't really interest me. I'm sure you'll fall in love with P5 though. I'm actually more attracted to indie games these days than anything. You can also just download demos and play those instead of getting game pass or whatever playstation has. Steams got TONS of demos to download.
@@arctic-the-fox Let's not kid ourselves, PS5 doesn't have any games 🤣 This list holds no indie games. I couldn't really think of any indie JRPGS that stuck out to me, because when it comes to indies, I'm not really paying attention to where they're coming from, unlike AAA games, so I can't really say what indies are specifically coming from Japan. Oh man, well, Final Fantasy X is the best Final Fantasy ever created, just above 9 and X-2 though quite bizarre and completely different in every way, goes quite well with it, especially if you get the 100% ending. Squenix needs to respect what was made and NOT make X-3. I know that's technically a ps2 game, but it is for the ps4, and I do highly recommend it. Nobody really shares this sentiment with me, but Tales of Symphonia (a game that was originally for gamecube) was an amazing experience. I usually encourage people to play games without a guide, however with this one, you're gonna need one in order to experience everything in the game. For instance, when you donate money to a certain city, you have to donate a certain amount for it to count. The amounts needed are completely random and unfair. With that said, The story in that game is SO GOOD. People will say that Tales of Berseria is better, and maybe, but there's just something magical about Tales of Symphonia, at least to me. Nier Automata is a great JARPG, with android booty and deep philosophy. When you complete the game, you'll be a different person. They also remade Neir Replicant, and that was the story that led to Neir Automata. I warn you though, if you play replicant, you'll be spoiled with one of the twists in Automata. It's kinda like looking at the anime Fate Zero and Fate Stay/Night, Unlimited Blade Works, both are going to spoil something, so which plot twists is less important? Personally, I would play Replicant first....I am a bit sad, they didn't bring back the father figure, and only remade the Japanese version with the brother. I think the father fit everything better in my honestly opinion. I own it, but I haven't played it yet, but I've heard nothing but great things about it, and that's Valkyria Chronicles Remastered. It's a tactical role playing game. Very cool. Next on the list, is two video games: 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, and Unicorn Overload. Vanillaware is VERY good at what they do. They're the ones that made Odin Sphere, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and Dragon's Crown. For some reason they won't bring their games to PC....makes no sense to me. Oh well. Another old game would be Dragon's Dogma. The original is SO good. It's a shame what Capcom did with II, and I can understand why the guy that made it left...they really didn't let him make the game they promised they'd let him make. Apparently everyone LOVED Dragon Quest 11, but I didn't play it. It gets high praise though, so I'm gonna add it here. If there was a way to disable Dripping in Ni No Kuni:Wrath of the White Witch, I'd recommend that game, however drippy is such an annoying character that doesn't let you figure anything out on your own and it's a detriment to the experience of the game. I have no idea why they thought he was a good idea. It's such a shame that you can't toggle his hints off and on. Anywho, I suppose that's enough recommendations, but yea, you got a lot of good stuff to choose from here.

Thank you so much. And I’m glad you agree with trying new genres 🙏
Oh boy, cant wait for you to play elden ring someday
Neither can I !!!😁 I’m think after DS1 and Dragons Dogma 2 I’ll probably do Alan Wake and then I can’t decide if I should play Persona 5 or DS2 😅

I love hearing stories like this! I’m so glad I’m not alone! Which Resident Evil was your Favourite?
And if you're not a fan of subscriptions, you can pick up physical games pretty cheap and sell them on if you don't want to keep them
Very true 🙏
I HATE HATE HATE horror but I sucked it up and played alan wake 1 and 2 last year. 2 is one of my favorite games of all time now
That actually fills me with so much confidence and excitement. I hope I enjoy it just as much 🙏
@@arctic-the-fox I’d love to see your opinion after you play it
@@rodneybrown8338 I think I definitely will do that 💪
Give ‘Ai: Somnium Files’ a try dude. The story is absolutely amazing
Never heard of that but definitely going to look for it now 👀 what genre is it ?
