    So, are you able to make enough money on RUclips
    to live on?…

      Thanks Paul, we appreciate it 🙌 We do have some countries in mind, but still have some exciting things to do in Peru 🇵🇪At this point, we are not making enough money to break even, but we are working to get there. Our priorities to accomplish this are this channel and our website, but we have some other projects that we are working on.

      @@ThePassportCouple I discovered you recently for your CR videos, I do believe that you could grow a lot here as your content is interesting, quality and fun. There are lots of travel channels but only a few are good to see. You got a new suscriber. Btw Im from Mexico and I think here there are some really pretty places that you could document and is near you.

      @@ThePassportCouple Not too many people appreciate the amount of work that's involved, the endless hours of editing, the photographic skills and all the time spent researching. The Peruvian Tourist Office never promotes Machu Picchu because it promotes by itself, but rather Peru as a whole country full of adventures. The essence of what you have captured in your videos. Keep the good work and GONGRATS

    Love your videos, you guys make a great team, and you are super cute (respectfully) my wife and I are eyeing a trip there this or next year. Would you recommend also walking outside of the tourist area, not too far of course being mindful of our safety

    • @ThePassportCouple
      @ThePassportCouple  2 года назад +1

      Thank you for such an amazing comment Robert, we really appreciate it 🙌 We know the world is ever changing, but when we were in Peru, we felt very safe, especially in Cusco. Several comments from Peruvians recommended that we venture into rural Peru on our next visit to further experience the country. So, with that said, it could be interesting to walk outside the tourist areas a bit. If you are looking for a more assurance, you can always hire a local guide to curate such a trip. We often use a website called "Get Your Guide" or sometimes if we really like our Airbnb host, we will ask if they know anybody. We hope this helps and thanks again for leaving us a comment 😀

    Yep, ancient humans built those megalithic stone structures at Sacsayhuaman with a high technology that was lost and it would be difficult to duplicate today with modern machinery. But why? Does anyone really know how old these structures are? Our known history only goes back about 5,000 years but humans have been in existence for at least 300,000 years. If Russia starts an all out nuclear war, it will be rinse and repeat - if our species survives.

    • @ThePassportCouple
      @ThePassportCouple  2 года назад

      Humans are pretty impressive and we are so grateful such structures are still in tact for us to marvel at and wonder what it must have been like back then 🧐
