  • "The Army Song" is based on Edmund L. Gruber's The Caissons Go Rolling Along(The Caisson Song), with a new lyric by Harold W. Arberg and established as the Army's official military song in 1956. The song, which is derived from the song "The Caissons Go Rolling Along," is also known to be used as a trio in John Philip Sousa's March, "U.S. Field Artillery".
The performance is by the U.S. Army Band, Pershing's Own.
The English and Japanese translations are taken from Wikipedia.
