OCTOCURL heatless curls No Headband on Type 4 THICK Natural Hair, My Overnight Results

Whoa, Octocurl Heatless Hair Curler on Type 4 Natural Hair here's my first time experience. I randomly came across this on amazon and I'm so glad to see there was a no headband version! Spoiler Alert I did have to use heat because my hair is THICK and takes a while to to dry. I already know I want to try it again but what do you think? I think it's possible to create easy thick voluminous curls on natural hair with a simple tool like this.

I have worn my hair natural for over 30 years, twist outs mostly. Just bought this Octocurl situation. I wish I had known they come without the weird dome band. I just used it the first time and I hate it. Maybe I will love it once my hair dries and sets
I may see that stupid band closed to see if that makes more sense for me.
