@@annispatel43 Not Ange's fault that Liverpool couldn't do the basics of football and tackle properly. They kept hacking the players and properly got sent for it.
The denied goal was the only thing that Liverpool were hard done by, but it was halfway through the first half and Spurs likely would have come back and won anyway.
The fact that we haven’t even employed bentancur in this team yet is scary. Imagine an attacking midfield duo of Maddison and bentancur 🤯

I am an ancient Aussie football tragic of Anglo heritage who discovered the joys of Ferenc Puskas and Hungarian football philosophy in the early 1960's. Only the Dutch in the 70's and 80's matched the exuberance of that view. Both had the view is that football is about scoring more goals than the opposition and bugger the defence. Ange is a reflection of his Greek father's views, and those of Puskas. If there is an Australian element to Ange's input, it could be the importance of an egalitarian equality in his teams, commitment to your team mates.

The way Vicario, vdV, and Romero played with Arse's high press by drawing them into the box after every turn over, was absolute filth. The way they toyed with Odegard was a violation.

If you watch the Brazilian national squad 1981-82 under Tele Santana, Leandro and especially Junior (RB, LB) acted as additional creative midfielders instead of wingers. Also, Van Gaal's Ajax in 1993-96 played with diamond shapes (3-1-2-1-3) and won the Champions League. Good stuff.

This team looks destined to be playing in Europe next season with its exciting style. However, the loss of key personnel in both defence (Udogie, van de Ven & Romero) and midfield i(Maddision) n the last couple of weeks has had a severe impact on is efficiency as a whole and brought about the first elements of doubt. Additional signings, either in mid-season or more likely, during the off-season appear inevitable.

Hopefully that day light robbery would have been in 2019 champions league final where early handball was given with was not even deliberate one and spurs had 60% possession in that game as well. So if spurs are not blaming for a final match which is more important than a league game. Then I guess u shud shutup for this one.

It's not tiki taka. Tiki-taka is boring, it ends up being boring, it is a game that can concentrate on ball possession without depth. Like City when they have 70% possession, but sometimes they only take 3 shots on goal, or reach the back of the field and pass back without ever taking the low cross.
Postecoglou's game is a collective game in essence. His team comes out from behind, creates play in the middle, exploits the wings to get low or aerial crosses. When he wants, he also tries through the middle and also tries shots outside the area. This is not tiki taka, it's much better.
Those who know about football must understand that not everything that is a collective game is synonymous with tiki-taka. The tiki-taka is from Guardiola. And it is the most boring thing that could ever exist.
Is this a football manager tutorial?
He's fortunate his style is working. Many managers also came with tactics until it was dismantled.
In theory any team that can get the ball into the wide areas behind the press should run riot. So far though, they've always managed to either win the ball back again further up, or VDV/Romero has done something super-athletic to stop the danger. We'll see if they keep getting away with it!
