You can have all that cold weather. Its the middle part of march here in southeast texas and its 10:25 am and its 39 f. Here this weather sucks. Im ready for the heat to come back. Of course when it does i will be wishing the cold would come back so it is a never ending battle

Cannot tell you the amount of time I dropped down the hill on 28 then turned onto 36 with heavy and wide in the 70 and 80. Back in the day when you could haul a D9G with a ripper on 5 axles

When I left there the route they sent me was east on US 30. With my diff locks 🔒, I was spinning the entire way up the 10% grade. I was literally in fear for my life!

I talked to guy from Valley today in Meridian, Idaho. I asked him if he knew you? He said, " oh don't get me started." Hahaha He was a super nice guy though. I think some of your drivers probably get asked that question quite a bit.

Good looking new Truck & Trailer Paul, I'm thinking it needs a flag on it also though LOL .........When I was pulling 14 wide modelers I had this one escort that would always say , Roger Dodger 10-4 , it's funny now but at the time it became annoying all the same escorts can save your A$$ at times.
If it was 8 degrees outside I'd have the flag mounted....

Do heavy transports like this have an exception when it comes to traffic lights? I mean... it quite obvious that it gets a tiny bit tight to cross the lights on green in some situations. And the pilot car should also not get lost...
And I like to ask if you 'float' gears or if you use the clutch? I can imagine that it's maybe more responsive than floating gears... but honestly I don't know 😂
BTW: Nice camera perspectives on the ride! Love it! Well cutted on the peaks of turns. Very nice to see a different view on that!
from my knowledge of him and that is since he was 3 years old he floats the gears almost all the time. LOL
Been floating since 1972 ish....
If you hear a squeaking noise thats the clutch pedal... if you dont we are floating... it depends on what the truck wants at the time....

Those ignorant permit route makers for pa. Oughta be taken out amd made ride with you on some of these routes they send you down . I never in my life have ever seen a man with that much equipment have to make so many turns and to top that it usually has a steep hill to climb after the turn . Thats is r i d i c u l o u s. . . . . .
Why do the permit companies always route most heavy & oversized loads on narrow 2 lane roads through 100 year old towns when many times there is an interstate highway running close by , especially out east!
