Hey king you should do a tournament maybe a fight a week and see which player is the best with the same character or different characters? Idk but the suspense every week would drive a lot a view I think!!
Dodge attaking a wiff bash should land, its too safe for some heroes (WL, BP, Conq... maybe some other) Great fight, mad respect to the Gryphon guy, skill for days

Idk if it's just way easier to react to on PC because of higher frames or even input delay, but I feel like Gryphons chain pressure is pretty good because of his kick mixup, aka a bash that guarantees a heavy. I'm sure you can dodge it on reaction, but for me I'm pretty sure I just dodge it on prediction most of the time, idk if this is the main factor of why he is considered weak on PC but on console at least I dont see many people that can consistently avoid this? Conq, shaolin, warmonger (charged)+ bleed, cent (charged)+ movie, warden (charged) infinite ♾️ shoulder bash, hitokiri (plays soccer with your face), Highlander + for some reason has one too punish if you read the kick, lol 😂 to name a few
His kick is not reactable, even on pc. You just have to make the read. If it guaranteed a light it would severely weaken him and he is already just an ok hero.
@elise7322 as I said I don't really mind charged bashes (warden, warmonger, cent) as its kinda hard to land them, highlanders kick is very easy to dodge, even his kick to grab just dodge attack. Shaolin's is quite annoying but his kick does so little damage that it's not really a problem, but his sweep can be a nuisance especially in team fights, I also dont like that even if you do dodge it you then have to make another read to punish it with certain characters. I completely forgot about Hito that can delete your health very quickly, I think you get heavy either way kick, sweep or if they gb , but idk for some reason I find that easier to react to, plus I guess I just don't see as many of them compared to Gryphon's. Also, Conq's bash is just a light attack so it doesn't really matter either, I think you can heavy off it but I'm pretty sure it just does the same damage except you can execute, which I don't really mind because you are dead either way

Man that gryphon was very good but I feel like he could easily won that if he used his combat speed against him like using his zoning attacks more after the kick from gryphon try a grab right after to test there reflexes but I would suggest you don't abuse its really his best combo
