James, I want to thank you for providing the level of details in this video. One of the most important aspects is showing the detail of the database setup and the detail of the relationships. Otherwise I would be lost. Many thanks. Mary
Really good thank you. In my opinion we always miss one of the hardest part of the app is the shipping and payment method. How to send an email to the customer and admin and how to download invoices for the customer. All of this would make this app complete :)
I enjoyed the video. But I agree, it would be good to have a more advanced video. And maybe I missed this part, but how orders are linked to customers?
A really nice introductory video. I think it would be very good if you do a video on how to integrate payments and create a backend for like restaurants to add menu items on their own. Thanks for the video.
Thanks this was very helpful in learning! Could you please do a video showing more complicated features, backend for restaurants etc too, thanks very much.
1- the simple way i believe , is that you will see the new order in your adalo control pannel . 2- the more little bit complicated is to creat a free account on Zapier and link it to your adalo account so you receive an email everytime a user place an order 3- a bit more copmplicated way , is that you have to link users to the orders data , then add admin / normal user , then you add a trigger notification action to the "confirm order button" , then you have to chose a filter that this action will be triggered only to Admin users.
The restaurant will ALSO have to have a User account with “YOUR APP” on it….. But the difference is… The Restaurants would have to sign up as “SELLERS”…. Thats why uber eats has TWO different formats…. They have UBER EATS… for customers… And UBER MERCHANT for Restaurants….
Hey. Can you build a more advanced app that is like an Uber app and not a UberEats app? Ideally, you should complete the entire app from beginning to end adding signup on drivers and users, the approval process for the drivers, the background check flow, the flow to add their cars, the checkout flow, adding Stripe Checkout, Stripe Payment or Stripe Connect, Receipts. The whole nine-yards. I would appreciate that. Your videos are the most thorough and intuitive I've ever seen. Thanks so much!
My question is how does the restaurant know that they need to start preparing the food after the customer orders a certain restaurant food from your app?????
Thank you - a very helpful intro to Adalo. Do you have a website? Or a way to communicate with you outside of this platform? I'm looking at other no code platforms and would like your input into selecting one.
Hi James, how to build multi vendor ecommerce using Adalo? From categories, products, payment options, delivery & tracking, commission fee setup, multi currencies, countries and all. Is it possible?
Hi James, Thanks for tutorial. What app or service you use for mind mapping scheme in the beginning of the video? (that one with data types and user order roadmap). Thanks!
Hi James and everyone who can help... when I get to the add item button when creating the order items action I am not seeing the option under orders to put to current orders. All I am getting is orders>all and that is messing up my flow when i preview. I have tried following the tutorial step by step. Where could I be going wrong? and how do you copy the screen btw
make it more complex in future video add payments api, also make the other app for admin where they can add details on the app =. restraurant detail, also delevery person app model
Hi I would like to see tutorial for creating e commerce app fro example clothing. User choose category, then products (add multiple products to cart) and make an order with several products in different categories, paying in cash on delivery for example..
Yes, they have this template in Adalo for you to start with (Called Food truck). Free plan is limited to 50 rows, but you should be able to replicate the same.
But you LEFT OUT THE MOST IMPORTANT element…… Which is……. Once the user place the ORDER, How does the “DELIVERY user” , get ALERTED to go to the “Restaurant” to pick up the order….???? Translation: How do we implement the element of “Peer-to-Peer” geolocating to NOTIFY a “3rd party” to head to the “PICK UP”location, THEN, head to the “DELIVERY” location???? so in total: ITS 3 PARTIES involved……… Basically…. My question is THIS……. Which API allows me to ALERT, DISPLAY and NOTIFY different users, Using “CELLULAR TRIANGULATION”….?????? Great Video…👍🏾🥂
Yes please can you do the next video where you show more complicated features? Like payments, and geolocation management?
Awesome video! I lost couple of days because of wrong data structure before watching this. Now it works perfectly.
Thank you!
Adalo needs to hire you as their marketer. Great content! Thanks.

great videos, plz tell us how to integrate functionality like google maps, user notifications payment gateway
I have a question like how are the restaurants getting notified when you place the order a little bit confused

Really valuable tutorial man, appreciate it
Do you think you could build this same type app in AppGyver?
It has to integrate with the restaurant’s POS system or they won’t use it.
All orders have to come to the kitchen on the same printer or it won’t work
