  • Normally, on a chop this long, I bloody my hands.(1,753 + - swings total) 884 in this video. This time, it is my knees, that is not only sweat coming through my pants.
I am also chopping with a broken right index finger, (three weeks ago Saturday)which did not hinder me at all...I got up the next day craving a swinging session...I felt good the next day...

Well, the tree made you work for it, but I knew you would stick to it. It is always nice to finally hear that Crack when the tree finally gives up. Great video and series. Be blessed. My friend.

Very impressive switching from right to left hand swings especially on such a tough challenge. Nice job Brian!

A true testament to the Timber Pilot's steel, Mr. Casterman's hang and your toughness of body and spirit. Who else would undertake this challenge with a broken finger.👍🪓💪

I was wondering if that tree would split when it dropped, and also wow that pine was tough!

A bit late but congratulations on the challenge! A very tricky and tough subject you chose. Sweeping up the chips to avoid getting dragged by easy chair lumberjacks is wise trick. You should be in public relations ! I was as impressed as Chimmy with the stance switching. The timber pilot looks great and seems to really hold an edge. I bet it would be awesome with a 20 degree grind!

@MattKeevil The Axe Ambassador is never late...a most excellent and appreciated comment Mr. Matt...I just did it because you young men were, and I paid a painful price...I did learn many lessons, however.
I gave up on sweeping the chips but there is some unspoken information to come. As to the public relations, I have been referred to as "the publicist" on the saw side of things.
Thank you for the compliments on the chopping, and yes the 20 degree TIMBERPILOT truly is awesome. (I linked a video in my community post about it)..
      Again thank you sir...
